Abstract
The research was aimed to know the effect of aplication rice washing water and NPK compound fertilizer on the growth and yield of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). This research was conducted in the Integrated Agricutural System Area (Sitandu), Curug District, Serang City, Banten Provance from June until September 2023. This research used Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) as factorial consisted of two factors and three replications. The first factor was the rice washing water concentration level (A) which consisted of four levels, namely A1 = 25%/polybag, A2 = 50%/polybag, A3 = 75%/polybag, A4 = 100%/polybag. The second factor was the dose of NPK compound fertilizer (N) which consisted three levels, namely N1 = 250 kg/ha same as 9.25 g/polybag, N2 = 400 kg/ha same as 14.8 g/polybag, N3 = 550 kg/ha same as 20.35 g/polybag. The results showed that the treatment at a concentration level of rice washing water A4 = 100%/polybag gave the best effect on all observed parameters except the number of fruit, namely the plant height at 3 weeks after moving plant (WAMP) (37.98 cm), 4 WAMP (38.56 cm), the number of leaves at 3 WAMP (12.50 leaves), 4 WAMP (42.00 leaves), the fruit weight per plant (726.89 g), the fruit length per plant (16.74 cm), the fruit diameter per plant (39.42 mm). The doses of NPK compound fertilizer N2 = 14,8 g/polybag gave the best effect on all observed parameters excepr the number of fruit, namely the plant height at 2 WAMP (15.12 cm), 3 WAMP (37.51 cm) and 4 WAMP (38.22 cm), the number of leaves at 3 WAMP (12.24 leaves), 4 WAMP (36.79 leaves), the fruit weight per plant (629.92 g), the fruit length (15.61 cm) and the fruit diameter (37.47 mm). There was an interaction between the traetment of giving the concentration level of rice washing water 100%/polybag (A4) with the doses of NPK compound fertilizer 14.8 g/polybag (N2) to the parameters of the plant height at 4 WAMP (42.10 cm).

Additional Information: | Tanaman terung ungu (Salonum melongena L.) merupakan tanaman asli daerah tropis, tanaman ini berasal dari Asia Tenggara termasuk Indonesia. Terung ungu menjadi salah satu sumber daya alam yang dibudidayakan masyarakat sebagai usaha tani. Limbah air cucian beras memiliki potensi sebagai bahan pupuk organik cair karena mengandung unsur hara dan juga nutrisi. kandungan hara pada pupuk organik masih belum cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan unsur hara pada tanaman terung, sehingga pertumbuhan tanaman akan terlihat kurang optimal. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan mengkombinasikan dengan pupuk anorganik. Salah satu pupuk anorganik yang dapat digunakan yaitu pupuk NPK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respons pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung (Solanum melongena L.) terhadap pemberian tingkat konsentrasi air cucian beras dan dosis pupuk majemuk NPK. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kawasan Sistem Pertanian Terpadu (Sitandu), Kecamatan Curug, Kota Serang, Provinsi Banten mulai bulan Juni sampai dengan bulan September 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor dan tiga ulangan. faktor pertama adalah tingkat konsentrasi air cucian beras (A) dan faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk NPK 16:16:16 (N). Air cucian beras konsenstrasi 100% (A4) memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman umur 3 MSPT (37,98cm) dan 4 MSPT (38,56 cm), jumlah daun umur 3 MSPT (12.50 helai) dan 4 MSPT (42,00 helai), bobot buah (726,89 g), panjang buah (16,74 cm) dan diameter buah (39,42 mm). Pupuk NPK dengan dosis 14,8 g/polybag (N2) memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman umur 2 MSPT (15,12 cm), 3 MSPT (37,51 cm) dan 4 MSPT (38,32 cm), jumlah daun umur 3 MSPT (12,24 helai) dan 4 MSPT (36,79 helai), bobot buah (629,92 g), panjang buah (15,61 cm) dan diameter buah (37,47 mm). Terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan air cucian beras dengan pupuk NPK hanya pada parameter tinggi tanaman umur 4 MST. | |||||||||
