Abstract

Many research have been carried out on Internet of Things (IoT) technology in the agricultural sector, including prototypes of smart farming systems. Drip irigation system based on IoT was applied at the nursery in the Experimental Field Karangkitri, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. The aim of this research was to test the IoT-based drip irrigation system and analyze the need and efficiency of using irrigation water on banana plants. The research method was carried out by calculating the water requirements of Maskirana banana plants and tested the IoT-based drip irrigation system so that drip irrigation efficiency was obtained with 3 repetitions. Data analysis used One Way Anova SPSS 20, then tested further with a Post Hoc test at the 5% level. Parameter measurements were carried out every 7 days for measuring plant height, stem diameter, and number of leaves. The results showed that the soil moisture sensor had an average error of 85.26%, which showed a very high error value. The value of the coefficient of uniformity (CU) was quite good. Uniformity of water supply (EU) criteria was good and sufficient. Storage efficiency (Ea) was classified as quite good. Based on Post Hoc further tests, there were differences in growth results from 0-8 WAP of banana plants, including plant height, stem diameter, and number of leaves

Additional Information: Banyak penelitian telah dilakukan mengenai teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) di sektor pertanian, termasuk prototipe sistem pertanian cerdas. Irigasi tetes sistem berbasis IoT diterapkan di persemaian di Lahan Percobaan Karangkitri, Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Tujuan Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji sistem irigasi tetes berbasis IoT dan menganalisisnya kebutuhan dan efisiensi penggunaan air irigasi pada tanaman pisang. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan menghitung kebutuhan air tanaman pisang Maskirana dan menguji sistem irigasi tetes berbasis IoT sehingga efisiensi irigasi tetes diperoleh dengan 3 kali pengulangan. Analisis data menggunakan One Way Anova SPSS 20, lalu diuji lebih lanjut dengan uji Post Hoc pada taraf 5%. Parameter pengukurannya adalah dilakukan setiap 7 hari sekali untuk pengukuran tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, dan jumlah daun-daun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sensor kelembaban tanah mempunyai error rata-rata sebesar 85,26% yang menunjukkan nilai error yang sangat tinggi. Nilai koefisien keseragaman (CU) cukup baik. Keseragaman kriteria pasokan air (UE) baik dan cukup. Efisiensi penyimpanan (Ea) tergolong cukup baik.
