Abstract

The research was aimed to know the effect of application the volume levels of kepok banana peel liquid based organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of two pakchoy varieties (Brassica rapa L.). This research was conducted from Juni until August 2023 in Sukajadi village, Cibaliung district, Pandeglang city, Banten. The research used Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) as factorial with two factors. The first factor was the volume levels of kepok banana peel liquid based organic fertilizer (P) which consisted of five levels, namely; control 0 ml/polybag (P0), the volume level 25 ml/polybag (P1), the volume level 50 ml/polybag (P2), the volume level 75 ml/polybag (P3) and the volume level 100 ml/polybag (P4). The second factor was the variety (V) which consisted of two levels, namely; Flamingo variety (V1) and Green variety (V2). The result showed that the volume of level 75 ml/Polybag kepok banana peel liquid based organic fertilizer was the best effect on plant height at 2 weeks after planting (WAP) (10.17 cm) and 3 WAP (14.70 cm), the number of leaves at 1 WAP (6.33 leaves), 2 WAP (7.16 leaves), 3 WAP (8.50 leaves) and 4 WAP (8.50 leaves), plant fresh weight (59.03 g), crown fresh weight (57.05 g) and root fresh weight (2.25 g). Flamingo variety provides the best effect on plant height at 1 WAP (5.33 cm), 3 WAP (14.91 cm ) and 4 WAP (19,93 cm), the number of leaves at 1 WAP (5.60 leaves), 2 WAP (9.53 leaves) and 3 WAP (14.91 leaves), plant fresh weight (48.75 g) and crown fresh weight (47.16 g). There was interactions between the volume levels of kepok banana peel liquid based organic fertilizer and varieties to the number of leaves at 1 WAP, 2 WAP and 3 WAP, plant fresh weight and crown fresh weight parameters.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan tingkat volume pupuk organik berbahan dasar cair kulit pisang kepok terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil dua varietas pakchoy (Brassica rapa L.). Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai bulan Juni sampai dengan Agustus 2023 di desa Sukajadi, kecamatan Cibaliung, kota Pandeglang, Banten. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RCBD) secara faktorial dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah kadar volume cairan kulit pisang kepok pupuk organik berbahan dasar (P) yang terdiri dari lima taraf yaitu; kontrol 0 ml/polibag (P0), tingkat volume 25 ml/polibag (P1), tingkat volume 50 ml/polibag (P2), tingkat volume 75 ml/polibag (P3) dan tingkat volume 100 ml/polibag (P4). Faktor kedua adalah varietas (V) yang terdiri dari dua tingkatan yaitu; Varietas Flamingo (V1) dan Varietas Hijau (V2). Hasilnya terlihat yang volumenya 75 ml/Polybag kulit pisang kepok cair berbahan dasar organik pupuk memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 2 minggu setelah tanam (MBS) (10,17 cm) dan 3 MST (14,70 cm), jumlah daun pada 1 MST (6,33 helai daun), 2 MST (7,16 helai daun), 3 MST (8,50 helai daun) dan 4 MST (8,50 helai daun), tanaman segar bobot segar tajuk (59,03 g), bobot segar tajuk (57,05 g), dan bobot segar akar (2,25 g). Varietas Flamingo memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 1 MST (5,33 cm),3 MST (14,91 cm ) dan 4 MST (19,93 cm), jumlah daun pada 1 MST (5,60 daun), 2 MST (9,53 daun) dan 3 MST (14,91 daun), bobot segar tanaman (48,75 g) dan bobot segar mahkota (47,16 g). Terjadi interaksi antar kadar volume pupuk organik cair berbahan dasar kulit pisang kepok dan varietasnya jumlah daun pada 1 MST, 2 MST dan 3 MST, berat segar tanaman dan parameter bobot segar tajuk tanaman.
