Abstract

The introduction of this research is to explore the use of the STIFIn test in an effort to develop students' potential. The purpose of this research is to explain the basis for the implementation and use of STIFIn in SD Unggulan Uswatun Hasanah Cilegon, analyze follow-up and potential development after carrying out the STIFIn test at SD Unggulan Uswatun Hasanah Cilegon, and analyze the characteristics and skills of students at SD Unggulan Uswatun Hasanah Cilegon after implementation of the STIFIn concept. This study uses a qualitative case study method. The subjects of this study were school principals, curriculum teachers, teachers of grades VI, IV and II, as well as 10 students from grades IV and II. Data collection techniques used are interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The result of this study is the use of STIFIn as the first step for educators to identify the genetic potential of each student. Then provide an overview of the characters that need special attention to be developed. Educators can also determine the methods used to educate. Schools try to hone and develop students' skills based on the results of their STIFIn by providing various activities needed by students through intra-curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pemanfaatan tes STIFIn dalam upaya pengembangan potensi peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan dasar pelaksanaan dan penggunaan STIFIn di SD Unggulan Uswatun Hasanah Cilegon, menganalisis tindak lanjut dan pengembangan potensi setelah dilaksanakannya tes STIFIn di SD Unggulan Uswatun Hasanah Cilegon, serta menganalisis karakteristik dan keterampilan peserta didik di SD Unggulan Uswatun Hasanah Cilegon setelah diterapkannya konsep STIFIn. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini yakni Kepala Sekolah, Guru Bidang Kurikulum, Guru Kelas VI, IV, dan II, serta 10 peserta didik dari kelas IV dan II. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan STIFIn sebagai langkah awal pendidik mengidentifikasi potensi genetik setiap peserta didiknya. Kemudian memberikan gambaran mengenai karakter yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian secara khusus untuk dikembangkan. Pendidik juga dapat menentukan metode yang digunakan untuk mendidik. Sekolah berusaha mengasah dan mengembangkan keterampilan peserta didik berdasarkan hasil STIFIn yang dimiliki dengan menyediakan berbagai kegiatan yang dibutuhkan peserta didik melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler, kokurikuler, dan ekstrakurikuler.
