Abstract

PT.ABC is an industrial port with loading and unloading services. PT.ABC uses craneship unloaders engine for unloading, the problem is that when the machine is experiencing downtime when operating, due to poor maintenance scheduling. Scheduling maintenance replacement optimal for component can reduce downtime. This maintenance scheduling is applied to critical components of craneship unloaders machine which has the highest total breakdown time. The purpose of this research is to obtain a schedule of time replacement prevention for components critical which is to be proposed preventive replacement optimal and to know the level of spare parts required and also to know the total cost of inventory after knew the level of spare parts required. This research method using age replacement and poison process and also economic order quantity. The results of the reseacer were eight critical components of electrical unit and five critical components of mechanical unit and for replacement of the optimum components in the critical component using age replacement give result the increase of avalaibillity and reliability. The classification type of spare part for nonrepairable for electrical unit is 10 parts and mechanical unit is 10 parts and for repairable type only mechanical unit is 3 parts and for spare part requirement use poisson process for one period one year based on age replacement result calculation is in chapter result research. Total inventory cost to be incurred is as much as Rp.400.842.590,72.

PT.ABC menggunakan mesin craneship unloader untuk pembongkaran muat, masalah yang terjadi adalah mesin mengalami downtime saat beroperasi dikarenakan penjadwalan perawatan yang kurang baik. Penjadwalan perawatan untuk penggantian komponen yang optimal dapat mengurangi terjadinya downtime. Penjadwalan perawatan ini diterapkan untuk komponen kritis pada mesin craneship unloader yang memiliki total waktu breakdown tertinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh jadwal usulan waktu penggantian pencegahan komponen yang optimal pada komponen kritis dan mengetahui tingkat kebutuhan spare part yang diperlukan serta mengetahui total biaya inventory yang dikeluarkannya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan age replacement dan poison process serta economic order quantity. Hasil penelitian terdapat delapan komponen kritis pada unit elektrik dan lima komponen kritis pada unit mekanik serta untuk penggantian komponen yang optimal pada komponen kritis menggunakan age replacement didapat hasil adanya peningkatan avalaibillity dan reliability. Jenis klasifikasi spare part untuk nonrepairable untuk unit elektrik sebanyak 10 part serta unit mekanik 10 part dan untuk jenis repairable hanya unit mekanik sebanyak 3 part dan untuk tingkat kebutuhan sparepart menggunakan poisson process untuk selama satu periode satu tahun berdasarkan age replacement hasil perhitungan terdapat pada bab hasil penelitian. Total biaya inventory yang harus dikeluarkan adalah sebanyak Rp.400.842.590,72.
