Abstract
This research discusses vocational skills learning activities at Skh Negeri 02 Lebak which still lack the latest innovations so that children tend to experience boredom in carrying out the same skills learning. Seeing this problem, the author tries to teach vocational skills for making aromatherapy candles. This research uses a single subject research method (Single Subject Research) with an A-B-A research design. This research uses a mastery learning strategy as a learning method. This research aims to find out what a mastery learning strategy is. effectively used in improving vocational skills in making aromatherapy candles in mildly mentally retarded children in class XI at Skh Negeri 02 Lebak. Data is collected through tests and the processed data is presented in the form of simple descriptive statistics through graphs and percentage values. So the results obtained in baseline phase 1 (A1) mean value obtained is 0%. In intervention (B) the average value obtained increased to 63%, while in baseline phase 2 (A2) the average value obtained was 50%. It can be concluded that the application of the mastery learning method can improve the vocational skills of making aromatherapy candles in mildly mentally retarded children at SKH Negeri 02 Lebak

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini membahas tentang kegiatan pembelajaran keterampilan vokasional di Skh Negeri 02 Lebak yang masih kurang dalam inovasi terbaru sehingga anak cenderung mengalami kebosanan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran keterampilan yang sama. Melihat dari permasalahan tersebut, penulis mencoba mengajarkan membuat keterampilan vokasional lilin aromaterapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian subjek tunggal (Single Subjek Research) dengan desain penelitian A-B-A. Penelitian ini menggunakan strategi mastery learning sebagai metode pembelajaran,penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah strategi mastery learning efektif digunakan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan vokasional membuat lilin aromaterapi pada anak dengan hambatan intelektual ringan kelas XI di SKH Negeri 02 Lebak. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan data yang diolah disajikan dalam bentuk statistik deskriptif sederhana melalui grafik dan nilai persentase. Sehingga hasil yang diperoleh pada fase baseline 1 (A1) nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 0%. Pada intervensi (B) nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh meningkat menjadi 63% sedangkan pada fase baseline 2 (A2) nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 50%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran mastery learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan vokasional membuat lilin aromaterapi pada anak dengan hambatan intelektual ringan di SKH Negeri 02 Lebak. | |||||||||
