Abstract
Hydroponic cultivation generally uses AB-mix nutrients; these nutrients are made from inorganic materials. The use of inorganic substances can leave residue on plants, and in the long term, it will have a negative impact on human health and the environment. An alternative that can be used to reduce the impact of using inorganic fertilizer is organic fertilizer. Organic fertilizer contains organic compounds, including proteins, and other substances that can help stimulate growth and increase plant yields. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of melinjo leaf liquid organic fertilizer (POC) on the growth of pakchoy plants hydroponically. Furthermore, the results of this research are used as a basis for developing material on the concept of plant growth and development. The research method used was an experiment with a completely randomized design consisting of three treatments and three repetitions. Treatment consisted of P0 (100% AB mix), P1 (100% POC melinjo leaves), and P2 (50% Ab mix + 50% POC melinjo leaves). The Kruskal-Wallis test was used to assess the average growth of pakchoy plants at 28 HST. The research results showed that the content of macro- and micronutrients in the POC of melinjo leaves was low, which caused the growth of pakchoy plants to not be optimal. In addition, the results of the Kruskal-Wallis test showed that the use of melinjo leaf POC had no effect on all parameters of pakchoy plant growth (root length, leaf width, number of leaves, plant height, plant wet weight, plant dry weight, and total chlorophyll content). Furthermore, the information obtained from the research results is used as source material for the concept of plant growth and development.

Pupuk organik mengandung senyawa organik termasuk protein dan zat lainnya yang dapat membantu merangsang pertumbuhan dan meningkatkan hasil tanaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk organik cair (POC) daun melinjo pada pertumbuhan tanaman pakchoy secara hidroponik. Selanjutnya, hasil penelitian ini digunakan sebagai dasar untuk pengembangan materi pada konsep pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan acak lengkap terdiri dari tiga perlakuan dan tiga pengulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari P0 (100% AB mix), P1 (100% POC daun melinjo), dan P2 (50% Ab mix + 50% POC daun melinjo). Uji kruskal wallis digunakan untuk menilai rata-rata pertumbuhan tanaman pakchoy saat umur 28 HST. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kandungan unsur hara makro dan mikro dalam POC daun melinjo rendah, yang menyebabkan pertumbuhan tanaman pakchoy tidak optimal. Selain itu, hasil uji kruskal wallis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan POC daun melinjo tidak berpengaruh pada semua parameter pertumbuhan tanaman pakchoy (panjang akar, lebar daun, jumlah daun, tinggi tanaman, berat basah tanaman, berat kering tanaman, dan kadar klorofil total). Selanjutnya, informasi yang didapatkan dari hasil penelitian digunakan sebagai sumber materi pada konsep pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman. | |||||||||
