Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the interval and concentration of papaya leaf vegetable pesticide (Carica papaya L.) on the intensity of leaf damage and yield of the mustard plant (Brassica rapa L.) This research was conducted in Duren Sawit, East Jakarta city, DKI Jakarta province from March to May 2023. This study used a factorial randomized block design consisting of 2 factors which were repeated 3 times. The first factor was the interval of application with 3 levels, namely once every 4 days, once every 6 days and once every 8 days. The second factor is the concentration of vegetable pesticides with 3 levels, namely 20 g/L, 30 g/L and 40 g/L. The results showed that the interval of once every four days had a significant and very significant effect on the intensity of leaf damage with the best effect on plants aged 16 DAP (days after planting), 19 DAP and 22 DAP, plant fresh weight and had no significant effect on the number of fresh leaves parameter. The application of vegetable pesticides with a concentration of 40 g/L showed the best effect on the intensity of leaf damage on plants aged 16 DAP, 19 DAP, 22 DAP and 25 DAP, the number of fresh leaves and plant fresh weight. There was an interaction between the interval of application and the concentration of vegetable pesticides on the intensity parameter of leaf damage at 16 DAP.

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Duren Sawit Timur. Kota Jakarta, Provinsi DKI Jakarta pada bulan Maret sampai dengan Mei 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Faktor pertama adalah interval pengaplikasian dengan 3 taraf yaitu 4 hari sekali, 6 hari sekali, dan 8 hari sekali. Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi pestisida nabati dengan 3 taraf yaitu 20 g/L, 30 g/L dan 40 g/L. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jarak waktu empat hari sekali memberikan pengaruh nyata dan sangat nyata terhadap intensitas kerusakan daun dengan pengaruh terbaik pada tanaman umur 16 HST (hari setelah tanam), 19 HST dan 22 HST, berat segar tanaman dan mempunyai tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter jumlah daun segar. Aplikasi pestisida nabati dengan konsentrasi 40 g/L menunjukkan pengaruh terbaik terhadap intensitas kerusakan daun pada tanaman umur 16 HST, 19 HST, 22 HST dan 25 HST, jumlah daun segar dan berat segar tanaman. Terdapat interaksi antara interval aplikasi dan konsentrasi pestisida nabati terhadap parameter intensitas kerusakan daun pada 16 HST.
