Abstract
Learning activities to train students' critical thinking skills have not been foptimally implemented Critical thinking skills can be trained by developing teaching materials in the form of PBL-based E-LKPD. The lack of critical thinking skills of class VIII students means that appropriate learning methods and models need to be used so that they need to be developed further. This research and development aims to determine the level of efficiency of PBL-based E-LKPD on the theme of substance stress and its application to train students' critical thinking skills. The method used, namely Research and Development (R&D), which was developed by Sugiyono, has been modified according to the needs of researchers and is limited to the limited trial stage. The instruments used in this research are validation questionnaire sheets which have been tested by instrument experts and student response questionnaire sheets to determine the level of efficiency of the E-LKPD learning media being developed. Data analysis was carried out descriptively, quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of this research show that the level of validity of the E-LKPD based on PBL on the theme of substance stress and its overall application obtained an average result of 87.32% in the "Very Valid" category. This is based on the percentage results according to material experts who obtained a percentage result of 78.26% in the "Valid" category, media expert validation obtained a percentage of 93.45% in the "Very Valid" category and science teacher validation obtained a percentage of 90.88% with the "Very Valid" category. The efficiency level of the E-LKPD product obtained a percentage score of 86.91% in the "Very Efficient" category, so that the use of PBL-based E-LKPD on the theme of substance pressure and its application is very efficient for use by students at school in the learning process. Additional Information: | Kegiatan pembelajaran untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa belum sepenuhnya terlaksana dengan optimal. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dapat dilatih dengan mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa E-LKPD berbasis PBL. Kurangnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII, sehingga perlu adanya penggunaan metode dan model pembelajaran yang sesuai sehingga perlu dikembangkan lebih lanjut. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi E-LKPD berbasis PBL tema tekanan zat dan penerapannya untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (R&D) yang dikembangkan oleh Sugiyono telah dimodifikasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan peneliti dengan dibatasi hanya pada tahap uji coba terbatas. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar angket validasi yang telah diuji oleh ahli instrument dan lembar angket respon siswa untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi media pembelajran E-LKPD yang dikembangkan. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tingkat kevalidan E-LKPD berbasis PBL tema tekanan zat dan penerapannya secara keseluruhan mendapatkan hasil rata-rata sebesar 87,32% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Hal tersebut berdasarkan hasil persentase menurut ahli materi yang memperoleh hasil persentase sebesar 78,26% dengan kategori “Valid”, validasi ahli media memperoleh persentase sebesar 93,45% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid” dan validasi guru IPA memperoleh persentase sebesar 90,88% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Tingkat efisiensi produk E- LKPD memperoleh nilai persentase 86,91% dengan kategori “Sangat Efisien”, sehingga penggunaan E-LKPD berbasis PBL tema tekanan zat dan penerapannya sangat efisien untuk digunakan oleh siswa di sekolah dalam proses pembelajaran.
