Abstract

Senior High School is a level of education that prepares students for higher education, but few high school graduates can continue their education, causing the unemployment rate to increase. Entrepreneurship is an alternative to reduce unemployment. However, the fact is that many students lack interest in entrepreneurship. Chemistry learning with a chemo-entrepreneurship approach can be applied in the practicum of making aromatherapy candles using Integrated Instrument Components (KIT). This study aims to determine the relationship between the use of colloidal KIT with student's entrepreneurial interest. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Ciruas. The research instruments used include lesson plans, colloidal KIT, questionnaires, and observation sheets. This research included quantitative research using correlational research design. Data were analyzed descriptively and statistically using correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results showed that the chemo-entrepreneurship indicator, namely the ability to be creative, got the highest percentage of 96% while the ability to have original ideas got the lowest percentage of 86%. Based on simple linear regression analysis, the regression equation is Y = 27,941 + 0,726X. Based on the correlation analysis, a significance value < 0.05 and a correlation coefficient of 0.603 are obtained, which indicates that there is a strong correlation between the use of colloidal KIT and student's entrepreneurial interest.

Additional Information: Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) adalah jenjang pendidikan yang mempersiapkan siswa untuk ke pendidikan tinggi, namun sedikit lulusan SMA yang dapat melanjutkan pendidikannya sehingga menyebabkan angka pengangguran meningkat. Berwirausaha merupakan alternatif untuk menekan angka pengangguran. Akan tetapi faktanya banyak siswa kurang berminat untuk berwirausaha. Pembelajaran kimia dengan pendekatan chemo-entrepreneurship dapat diterapkan dalam praktikum pembuatan lilin aromaterapi dengan menggunakan media Komponen Instrumen Terpadu (KIT) koloid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penggunaan KIT koloid dengan minat berwirausaha siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Ciruas. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan antara lain RPP, KIT koloid, angket, dan lembar observasi. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian korelasional. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan analisis korelasi dan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indikator chemo-entrepreneurship yaitu kemampuan berkreasi mendapatkan persentase tertinggi sebesar 96% sedangkan kemampuan memiliki ide orisinil mendapatkan persentase terendah sebesar 86%. Berdasarkan analisis regresi linear sederhana, diperoleh persamaan regresi yaitu Y = 27,941 + 0,726X. Berdasarkan analisis korelasi, diperoleh nilai signifikansi < 0,05 dan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,780 yang menunjukkan terdapat korelasi yang kuat antara penggunaan KIT koloid dengan minat berwirausaha siswa.
