Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of drawing on writing skills in children aged 5-6 years in Citangkil District, Cilegon City, Banten Province. This study used a quantitative method (quasi-experimental) with a non-equivalent control group design. Two samples were used in this study, an experimental group and a control group, each consisting of 12 children aged 5-6 years, and given different treatment. Based on results of data analysis using paired sample t-test on experimental groups using SPSS Statistics version 25 known values of Sig. (two-sided) have values of 0.000 < 0.05, which is a large influence, so Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. Furthermore, the post-treatment change from the experimental group from pre-test to post-test was 12.17 while in the control group, the change from pre-test to post-test increased by 7.86. It is known that the most significant change in the experimental group that received drawing treatment on children's writing ability. Can be concluded that drawing influences writing skills in early childhood.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh menggambar terhadap kemampuan menulis anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kecamatan Citangkil Kota Cilegon Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif (Quasi Eksperimen) dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua sampel yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol yang masing-masing terdiri dari 12 anak usia 5-6 tahun, serta diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan spss statistics versi 25 dengan uji-t berupa uji paired sample t-test pada kelompok eksperimen diketahui nilai Sig. (2-tailed) bernilai 0,000 < 0,05 maka adanya pengaruh yang signifikan, dengan begitu Ho ditolak dan Hi diterima. Selanjutnya perubahan setelah diberikan perlakuan (treatment) dari kelompok eksperimen pada Pretest ke Posttest sebesar 12,17 sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol perubahan dari pretest ke posttest naik sebesar 7.86 diketahui perubahan paling besar yaitu pada kelompok eksperimen dengan perlakuan (treatment) mengambar terhadap kemampuan menulis anak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh menggambar terhadap kemampuan menulis anak usia dini. | |||||||||
