Abstract
This research aims to describe the process of implementing student literacy activities, describe the challenges and obstacles of the literacy program, describe the output of the literacy program. The research method used is qualitative with descriptive research type. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research show tha t the process of implementing student literacy activities is carried out through 3 stages, the first is the habituation stage, the development stage and the learning stage. The challenges during the implementation of the literacy program arise from student s' internalization, namely a lack of self confidence when reading. Apart from that, the obstacle that occurs in implementing this literacy program is the lack of attention from parents. Students are also able to understand the meaning or terms, capture inf ormation, and be able to explain the meaning of terms. Students are able to understand implicit or explicit reading. Students are able to take lessons from reading and make the text into a story. But students are not yet able to assess the content of the t ext and assess the structure of the reading.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan kegiatan literasi peserta didik, mendeskripsikan tantangan dan hambatan dari program literasi, mendeskripsikan output dari program literasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah guru, peserta didik kelas 5 Mina. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, obervasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa proses pelaksanaa n kegiatan literasi peserta didik dilakukan melalui 3 tahap, yang pertama tahap pembiasaan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap pembelajaran. Adapun tantangan pada saat pelaksanaan program literasi timbul dari internalisasi peserta didik yaitu kurangnya tingkat k epercayaan diri saat membaca. Selain itu hambatan yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan program literasi ini yaitu kurangnya perhatian dari orang tua. Peserta didik juga sudah mampu memahami makna atau istilah, menangkap informasi, serta mampu menjelaskan makna d ari istilah. Peserta didik mampu memahami bacaan tersirat atau tersurat. Peserta didik mampu membuat mengambil hikmah dari bacaan serta membuat teks menjadi cerita. Tetapi peserta didik belum mampu menilai isi teks dan menilai struktur bacaan. | |||||||||
