Abstract
Life today is very demanding to always understand digital trends. we cannot deny that technology is growing rapidly every time. By introducing gadgets to children so that children avoid technology stuttering, but there are many cases of parents giving their children gadgets so that the child can hold himself if he is rebelling or playing outside the home. in this current condition, the level of device use in children is quite high, which has an impact on reducing the level of social interaction they do. The tendency to use gadgets excessively and inappropriately can make a person indifferent to his environment both in the family and community environment. this study aims to determine the effect of gadgets on the social interaction skills of children aged 5-6 years. The research method used is quantitative with the type of research, namely ex-post facto.The research population is 5-6 year old children in kindergarten in Cikande Permai village. Research sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data collection tools in the form of questionnaires of social interaction skills and the influence of gadgets and documentation. The data obtained was then analyzed using simple linear regression test and t test. Based on the statistical analysis of t - test obtained t count of -3.500 > t table 1.69913, it can be interpreted that if there is an increase in the intensity of the use of gadgets, there is a decrease in the development of social interaction skills. It can be concluded that the use of gadgets affects the development of social interaction of children aged 5-6 years in Cikande Permai Village Kindergarten, Serang-Banten.

| Additional Information: | Kehidupan di masa sekarang sangatlah di tuntut untuk selalu memahami trend digital. Tidak bisa kita pungkiri bahwasanya teknologi semakin berkembang pesat setiap waktu. Dengan memperkenalkan gawai kepada anak agar anak terhindar dari gagap teknologi,namun banyak terjadi kasus orang tua memberikan anak nya gawai agar anak tersebut bisa menahan dirinya jika sedang memberontak atau bermain di luar rumah. Pada kondisi sekarang ini tingkat penggunaan gawai pada anak cukup tinggi berdampak terhadap mengurang nya tingkat berinteraksi sosial yang mereka lakukan. Kecenderungan penggunaan gawai secara berlebihan dan tidak tepat dapat membuat seseorang menjadi acuh terhadap lingkungan nya baik di lingkungan keluarga maupun masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gawai terhadap kemampuan interaksi sosial anak usi 5-6 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitiannya yaitu ex-post facto.Populasi Penelitian adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK yang berada di kelurahan Cikande Permai. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat pengumpul data berupa kuisioner kemampuan interaksi sosial dan pengaruh gawai serta dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian di analisis menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana dan uji t. Berdasarkan analisis statistik t - test diperoleh t hitung sebesar -3.500 > t tabel 1,69913 dapat diartikan jika terjadi peningkatan intensitas penggunaan gawai maka terjadi penurunan perkembangan pada kemampuan interaksi sosial anak, Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima . Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan gawai berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan interaksi sosial anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Kelurahan Cikande Permai,Serang-Banten. | |||||||||
