Abstract

4C skills are 21st century skills that must be given to students at all levels of education, especially at the elementary school level. 4C skills can be developed if teachers facilitate students' learning by using appropriate learning models that can support 4C skills, one of which is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The aim of this research is to describe the process of preparing learning plans using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and to understand the process of implementing learning using the problem based learning model in order to determine the achievement of 4C skills. This research was conducted at SDN Sentul 1, Kragilan District, Serang-Banten. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects of this research are teachers, school principals, and class V students. The results of this research show that in the planning process, teachers have implemented the PBL model with 4C skills as outlined in the RPP, then in implementation, teachers have implemented the learning process and linking the PBL model with 4C skills, finally the learning outcomes in achieving 4C skills have been well realized, by facilitating the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in learning activities.

Additional Information: Keterampilan 4C merupakan keterampilan abad 21 yang harus diberikan kepada peserta didik di semua jenjang pendidikan, terkhusus pada jenjang pendidikan sekolah dasar. Keterampilan 4C dapat dikembangkan jika guru memfasilitasi belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran yang sesuai serta dapat menunjang keterampilan 4C, satu di antaranya yaitu model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan proses penyusunan rencana pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) serta mengetahui proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model problem based learning guna mengetahui pencapaian keterampilan 4C. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Sentul 1 Kecamatan Kragilan, Serang-Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dari penelitian ini yakni guru, kepala sekolah, dan peserta didik kelas V. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam proses perencanaan, guru sudah mengimplementasikan model PBL dengan keterampilan 4C yang dituangkan dalam RPP, kemudian pada pelaksanaan, guru sudah mengimplementasikan proses pembelajaran dan mengaitkan model PBL dengan keterampilan 4C, terakhir pada hasil pembelajaran dalam pencapaian keterampilan 4C telah terealisasikan dengan baik, dengan memfasilitasi model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada kegiatan pembelajaran.
