Abstract

The research was aimed to know the effect of aplication NPK fertilizer and varieties on the growth and yield of chili plant (Capsicum annum L.). This research was conducted in the Integrated Agricutural System Area (Sitandu), Curug District, Serang City, Banten Provance from June until September 2023. This research used a factorial Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) consisting of two factors and three replications. The first factor was the doses of NPK fertilizer (P) which consisted of five levels, namely P0 = 0g/Polybag (without fertilizer) as a control, P1 = 300 kg/ha same with 2.88g/polybag, P2 = 600 kg/ha same with 5.76 g/polybag, P3 = 900 kg/ha same with 8.65 g/polybag, P4 = 1.200 kg/ha same with 11.53 g/polybag. The second factor was the variety which consisted two levels, namely the Lado F1 (V1) and Laju F1 (V2). The results showed that the treatment at a dose of P1 = 300kg/ha same with 2.88g/polybag gave the best effect on all observed parameters except the fruit length, namely the plant height at 2 Week after plant (WAP) (16.21 cm), 3 WAP (23.31 cm) and 4 WAP (28.51 cm), the number of branches at 2 WAP (6.66 branch), 3 WAP (11.3 branch) and 4 WAP (15.33 branch), the number of fruits per plant (35.50 fruits), the fruit weight per plant (118 g). The Lado F1 (V1) gave the best effect on several parameters, namely the plant height at 2 WAP (15.18 cm), 3 WAP (22.13 cm) and 4 WAP (29.08 cm) and the number of branches at 2 WAP (6.33 branch). There was an interaction between the traetment of giving the doses NPK fertilizer with varieties to the parameters of the plant height at 4 WAP (32.60 cm).

Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor dan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk NPK (P) yang terdiri dari lima taraf yaitu P0 = 0g/Polibag (tanpa pupuk) sebagai kontrol, P1 = 300 kg/ha sama dengan 2,88g/polibag, P2 = 600 kg/ha sama dengan 5,76 g/polibag, P3 = 900 kg/ha sama dengan 8,65 g/polibag, P4 = 1.200 kg/ha sama dengan 11,53 g/polibag. Faktor kedua adalah variasi yang terdiri dari dua level yaitu Lado F1 (V1) dan Laju F1 (V2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dengan dosis P1= 300kg/ha sama dengan 2,88g/polibag memberikan pengaruh terbaik pada semua parameter pengamatan kecuali panjang buah yaitu tinggi tanaman pada 2 Minggu setelah tanam (MST) (16.21 cm), 3 MST(23,31 cm) dan 4 MST(28,51 cm), jumlah cabang pada 2 MST (6,66 cabang), 3 MST (11,3 cabang) dan 4 MST (15,33 cabang), jumlah buah per tanaman (35,50 buah), berat buah per tanaman (118 g). Lado F1 (V1) memberikan pengaruh terbaik pada beberapa parameter yaitu tinggi tanaman pada 2 MST (15,18 cm), 3 MST(22,13 cm) dan 4 MST(29,08 cm) serta jumlah cabang pada 2 MST(6,33 cm). cabang). Terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan pemberian dosis NPK pemupukan dengan varietas dengan parameter tinggi tanaman pada 4 MST (32,60 cm).
