Abstract

The purpose of this research is to (1) look for forms of the local culinary lexicon typical of Cianjur, (2) find out the local culinary lexicon of Kab. Cianjur which still survive and which have shifted or experienced extinction, and (3) look for what factors have had an impact on the shift and maintenance of the district's local culinary lexicon. Cianjur. This research uses a qualitative research method with a sociolinguistic approach that focuses on maintaining and shifting the local culinary lexicon of the District. Cianjur. In this research, researchers used interview techniques and questionnaires in collecting data, after which it was verified as valid. The results of this research produced 2 forms of lexicon, namely words and phrases with numbers; 16 word lexicon and 28 phrase lexicon. Then the data was reclassified into 5 classifications; (a) data for the beverage category, 6 pieces, (b) data for the snack/snack/snack category, 22 pieces, (c) data for the accompanying/complementary food category for eating rice, 5 pieces, (d) data for the food category 4 light/snacks/companions for rice, (e) 7 substitutes for rice/heavy foods (which are filling). After obtaining the data, it was given to Cianjur teenagers to test the data with the following results; The local culinary lexicon (81.8%) still survives and a small part no longer survives (18.2%).

Additional Information: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mencari bentuk-bentuk leksikon kuliner lokal khas Cianjur, (2) mengetahui leksikon kuliner lokal Kab. Cianjur mana yang masih bertahan dan yang sudah bergeser atau mengalamu kepunahan, dan (3) mencari faktor-faktor apa sajakah yang memberikan dampak pada pergeseran dan pemertahanan leksikon kuliner lokal Kab. Cianjur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan ancangan sosiolinguistik yang berfokus pada pemertahanan dan pergeseran leksikon kuliner lokal Kab. Cianjur. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan teknik wawancara dan kuisioner dalam pengumpulan data, setelah itu diverifikasi dengan valid. Hasil dari penelitian tersebut menghasilkan 2 bentuk leksikon yaitu kata dan frasa dengan jumlah; leksikon kata 16 buah dan leksikon frasa 28 buah. Lalu data diklasifikasi kembali menjadi 5 kalisifikasi; (a) data untuk kategori minuman sebanyak 6 buah, (b) data untuk kategori kudapan/makanan ringan/cemilan sebanyak 22 buah, (c) data untuk kategori makanan Pendamping/pelengkap makan nasi sebanyak 5 buah, (d) data untuk kategori makanan ringan/kudapan/pendamping nasi sebanyak 4 buah , (e) Pengganti nasi/makanan berat (yang mengenyangkan) sebanyak 7 buah. Setelah didapatkan data tersebut diberikan kepada remaja cianjur untuk diuji data dengan hasil sebagai berikut; Leksikon kuliner lokal (81,8%) yang masih bertahan dan sebagaian kecil sudah tidak bertahan (18,2%).
