Abstract
The development of tourist destinations is currently starting to become one of the leading programs in regional development. This development is expected to be able to help improve the economy of the surrounding community by opening up opportunities for the community to become entrepreneurs. This study aims to (1) determine the development of the tourist destination of the Bukit Buluem Shorea Forest by the Sukanegara Village community (2) to increase the economy of the Sukanegara Village community after the existence of the Curuem Shorea Forest tourist destination. The approach used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques and guidelines used are observation, interviews and documentation. There are 3 techniques used in this research, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The sources for this research were 10 people, consisting of two tourism managers and eight members of the community. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it shows that: the development carried out by the tourism manager is quite good and the development of the Bukit Curuem Shorea Forest tourist destination has proven to be able to open business opportunities for the surrounding community so that it can improve the community's economy.

| Additional Information: | Pengembangan destinasi wisata saat ini mulai menjadi salah satu program unggulan dalam pembangunan daerah. Pengembangan ini diharapkan mampu membantu meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat sekitar dengan cara membuka peluang untuk masyarakat agar bisa berwirausaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui pengembangan destinasi wisata bukit curahem shorea forest oleh masyarakat desa sukanegara (2) peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat desa sukanegara setelah adanya destinasi wisata curahem shorea forest. Pendekatan yang digunakan merupakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Adaun teknik dan pedoman pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Serta teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada 3 yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sumber dari penelitian ini berjumlah 10 orang, yang terdiri dari dua orang pengelola wisata dan delapan orang unsur masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukan bahwa : pengembangan yang dilakukan oleh pengelola wisata cukup baik serta adanya pengembangan destinasi wisata bukit curahem shorea forest terbukti mampu membuka peluang usaha bagi masyarakat sekitar sehingga dapat meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat. | |||||||||
