Abstract
Use of personal data by political parties for the purposes of registering political parties as election participants in the Political Party Information System (SIPOL), In the process of factual verification, It was found that a number of data sets were used by political parties without the consent of the data owner, The purpose of this research is to analyze the legal protection of the use of personal data by political parties and the responsibility of political parties to the use of personal data. His thesis uses the normative juridical legal research method as the main method and empirical juridical as the supporting method. The data analyzed are primary data and secondary data, the analytical method used is descriptive analysis method on qualitative data through induction, deduction, comparison and interpretation with logical idea. Based on the research, an analysis was obtained that there is still low legal protection for the use of personal data by political parties and there are no sanctions for political parties as legal subjects who control personal data for the benefit of the registration process to become election participants in the 2024 election in Law No. 7 of 2017

| Additional Information: | Penggunaan data pribadi oleh partai politik untuk kepentingan pendaftaran partai politik sebagai peserta pemilu pada Sistem Informasi Partai Polik (SIPOL), dalam proses verifikasi faktual ditemukan sejumlah data yang digunakan oleh partai politik tanpa melalui persetujuan pemilik data, Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perlindungan hukum penggunaan data pribadi oleh partai polik dan tanggung jawab partai politik terhadap penggunaan data pribadi. Tesis ini menggunakan metode penelitian hukum yuridis normatif sebagai metode utama dan yuridis empiris sebagai metode pendukung. Data yang dianalisa yakni data primer dan data sekunder, metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu metode analisis deskriptif pada data kualitatif melalui induksi, deduksi, komparasi dan interprestasi dengan gagasan yang logis. Berdasarkan penelitiaan diperoleh analisa bahwa masih rendahnya perlindungan hukum penggunaan data pribadi oleh partai politk dan tidak ada sanksi bagi partai politik sebagai subjek hukum yang mengendalikan data pribadi untuk kepentingan proses pendaftaran menjadi peserta pemilu tahun 2024 dalam Undang-Undang No 7 Tahun 2017 | |||||||||
