Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the LAB Ri (learning by research) learning model on environmental awareness of grade X MAN 3 Pandeglang students on environmental change material. In this study, the method used was a quasi-experimental method. The study population was students of grade X MAN 3 Pandeglang for the 2022/2023 school year and the samples used were two classes X Science 4 as an experimental class and class X Science 2 as a control class. The instrument used in this study was a statement questionnaire (questionnaire). Based on the results of research that has been carried out, the results of the Independent Sample T-Test test are known, it is known that the average awareness of students in the control group is 73.89 and the average value of environmental awareness of students in the experimental group is 77.71. Furthermore, based on the t test, a sig (2-tailed) value (0.012) was obtained and the significance value was smaller than 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05). There is a difference from the average value of the environmental fatigue of the control class and the experimental class which shows that the application of the LAB Ri learning model (learning by research) has a positive influence on students' environmental awareness. This shows that the stages of the LAB Ri (learning by research) learning process can equip students in analyzing and growing student environmental awareness.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran LAB Ri (learning by research) terhadap kesadaran lingkungan siswa kelas X MAN 3 Pandeglang pada materi perubahan lingkungan. pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MAN 3 Pandeglang tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak dua kelas X IPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner (angket) pernyataan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil uji Independent Sample T-Test, diketahui rata-rata kesadaran peserta didik pada kelompok kontrol sebesar 73,89 dan nilai rata-rata kesadaran lingkungan peserta didik pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 77,71. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan uji t diperoleh nilai sig (2-tailed) (0,012) dan nilai signifikansinya lebih kecil daripada 0,05 (0,00 < 0,05). Terdapat perbedaan dari nilai rata-rata kesadran lingkungan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen yang menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran LAB Ri (learning by research) memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kesadaran lingkungan siswa. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa tahapan-tahapan proses pembelajaran LAB Ri (learning by research) dapat membekali siswa dalam menganalisis dan menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan siswa.
