Abstract
Inulin can increase the development of beneficial bacteria and reduce pathogenic bacteria, so that the health of the digestive tract is getting health improves. it is hoped that with a healthy digestive tract condition, nutrient absorption will be optimal. The purpose of this study aims to evaluate the effect of Artemia sp. enrichment with inulin on the growth performance of Sinyonya carp (Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus). Sinyonya carp larvae (initial length of 0.64 cm; initial weight of 0.003 g) were reared in an aquarium with a volume of 15 L for 25 days. Artemia sp. enrichment using inulin was carried out twice a day. This study used four treatments, namely A: Control, B: Artemia sp. enriched with 50 mg/L inulin, C: Artemia sp. enriched with 60 mg/L inulin, D: Artemia sp. enriched with 70 mg/L inulin with three replications. The results showed that treatment D provided the best results in increasing the growth and survival rate of sinyonya carp larvae. The highest activity of amylase and protease enzyme was highest in sinyonya carp fed Artemia sp. inulin enrichment in treatment D on day 10 i.e 5.37 and 0.08 IU/mL/menit respectively. The activity of amylase and protease enzyme on day 20 showed an increase of 5,47 and 0.09 IU/mL/menit. The highest daily length rate was 4.16 %, the highest specific growth rate was 9.78 %, the highest absolute length was 1.163 cm, and the highest survival rate was 84.0%.
