Abstract
The rise of K-pop fans led to the form of K-pop fandom that sought related information to their favorite idols through social media. CoppaMagz Discord Server is a social media platform created by CoppaMagz on May 9th, 2020. This study intended to find out how the virtual communication of K-pop fandom that occurs in CoppaMagz Discord Server. The theory used is the theory of Interaction Process Analysis (Robert Bales). This research is descriptive qualitative by using virtual ethnography methodology to see the phenomenon of cyber culture on the internet. The results of this study show that the virtual communication of K-pop fandom that occurs in Coppamagz Discord Server raises the phenomenon of cyber culture that can be seen from four levels, namely in the media space, the CoppaMagz Discord Server is a virtual community that is not bound by time, place, circumstances, and physical. In media documents, content on Discord Server CoppaMagz is in the form of messages, photos, audio, video. In the media object, K-pop fandom virtual communication in CoppaMagz Discord Server experiences two problems, namely tension problems and reintegration problems. K-pop fandom virtual communication in CoppaMagz Discord Server consists of four models, namely positive, answer, questions, and negative. At the media experience level, the motive for the K-pop fandom using the Coppamagz Discord Server is an interest in information about K-pop, with the effect of being informed about K-pop.

| Additional Information: | Maraknya fans K-pop menyebabkan terbentuknya suatu fandom K-pop yang mencari informasi terkait idola favorit mereka melalui media sosial. Discord Server CoppaMagz merupakan platform media sosial yang dibuat oleh portal berita CoppaMagz pada 9 Mei 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana komunikasi virtual fandom K-pop yang terjadi di dalam Discord Server CoppaMagz. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori analisis proses interaksi (Robert Bales). Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan metodologi etnografi virtual untuk melihat fenomena budaya siber yang ada di internet. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan komunikasi virtual fandom K-pop yang terjadi di dalam Discord Server CoppaMagz memunculkan fenomena budaya siber yang bisa dilihat dari empat level, yakni dalam ruang media, Discord Server CoppaMagz adalah komunitas virtual yang tidak terikatl oleh lwaktu, tempat, keadaan, danl fisik. Dalam dokumen media, konten di Discord Server CoppaMagz berupa pesan, foto, audio, video. Dalam objek media, proses komunikasi virtual fandom K-pop di Discord Server CoppaMagz mengalami dua masalah yaitu masalah ketegangan dan masalah reintegrasi. Komunikasi virtual fandom K-pop di Discord Server CoppaMagz terdiri atas empat model yaitu tindakan positif, upaya jawaban, pertanyaan, dan tindakan negatif. Dalam level pengalaman media, motif fandom K-pop menggunakan Discord Server CoppaMagz adalah ketertarikan terhadap informasi tentang K-pop, dengan efek yang dihasilkan adalah mendapat informasi seputar K-pop. | |||||||||
