Abstract

Balanced nutrition is very necessary for the growth and development of children aged 4-6 years. With good nutritional intake, children will grow and develop optimally. The aim of this research is mothers' knowledge of balanced nutritious food for children aged 4-6 years in RW 05, Karundang Village, Cipocok Jaya District, Serang City. This research method is a qualitative research method using a survey research approach. The research subjects were 50 mothers who had children aged 4-6 years in RW 05, Karundang Village, Cipocok Jaya District, Serang City. Data techniques are collected through questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study showed that 74% of mothers had knowledge of balanced nutritious food, 22% of mothers lacked knowledge of balanced nutritious food and 4% of mothers did not have knowledge of balanced nutritious food. Mothers who have and understand knowledge about balanced nutritious food can be seen from their educational status, experience, culture and surrounding environment.

Additional Information: Gizi seimbang sangat dibutuhkan sekali untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak usia 4-6 tahun. Dengan asupan gizi yang baik maka anak akan bertumbuh dan berkembang secara optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah kreativitas ibu tentang makanan bergizi seimbang untuk anak usia 4-6 tahun di RW 05 Kelurahan Karundang Kecamatan Cipocok Jaya Kota Serang. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian survei. Subyek penelitiannya adalah 50 orang ibu yang mempunyai anak usia 4-6 tahun di RW 05 Kelurahan Karundang Kecamatan Cipocok Jaya Kota Serang. Teknik data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengetahuan ibu tentang makanan bergizi seimbang terdapat 74% ibu sudah memiliki pengetahuan makanan bergizi seimbang, terdapat 22% ibu kurang memiliki pengetahuan makanan bergizi seimbang dan terdapat 4% ibu yang belum memiliki pengetahuan makanan bergizi seimbang. Ibu yang memiliki dan memahami pengetahuan tentang makanan bergizi seimbang dilihat dari status pendidikan, pengalaman, budaya dan lingkungan sekitar.
