Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving rabbit urine Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) concentrations on the growth and yield of three varieties of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) which was carried out at the Screen House in Saketi Pasir, Saketi District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province in November 2022 to January 2023. This study used a Split Plot Design, the main plot was the concentration of rabbit urine LOF (K) consisting of four levels, namely k1 (6 ml/l water), k2 (12 ml/l water), k3 (18 ml/l water) and k4 (24 ml/l water), and subplots, called lettuce varieties (V) consisting of three levels, particularly v1 (new grand rapid), v2 (red rapid), and v3 (LE 873). The results showed that the treatments of rabbit urine LOF concentration k3 gave the best results on plant height age 1-5 Weeks After Planting (WAP), concentration k2 gave the best results age 1 WAP on the number of leaves parameter, whereas k3 gave the best results age 2, 4 and 5 WAP on the plant wet weight and plant dry weight. The lettuce varieties treatment v1 gave the best results on plant height age 2, 3, 4, and 5 WAP, leaf area, plant wet weight, and plant dry weight. The varieties treatment v2 gave the best results on the number of leaves age 1-5 WAP and the greenness of the leaves. There was an interaction in the combination treatments of rabbit urine LOF concentration k2 and the lettuce varieties v2 on the parameter number of leaves age 1 WAP.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian konsentrasi Pupuk Organik cair (POC) urin kelinci terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tiga varietas tanaman selada (Lactuca sativa L.) yang dilaksanakan di Screen House Kp. Saketi Pasir, Kecamatan Saketi, Kabupaten Pandeglang, Provinsi Banten pada bulan November 2022 sampai Januari 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan Split Plot Design, petak utama adalah konsentrasi POC urin kelinci (K) yang terdiri dari empat taraf, yaitu k1 (6 mL/L air), k2 (12 mL/L air), k3 (18 mL/L air) dan k4 (24 mL/L air), dan anak petak yaitu varietas selada (V) yang terdiri dari tiga taraf, yaitu v1 (new grand rapid), v2 (red rapid), dan v3 (LE 873). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan konsentrasi POC urin kelinci k3 memberikan hasil terbaik pada tinggi tanaman umur 1-5 minggu setelah tanam (MST), konsentrasi k2 memberikan hasil terbaik umur 1 MST pada parameter jumlah daun, sedangkan k3 memberikan hasil terbaik pada umur 2, 4 dan 5 MST, bobot basah tanaman dan bobot kering tanaman. Perlakuan varietas selada v1 memberikan hasil terbaik pada tinggi tanaman umur 2, 3, 4 dan 5 MST, luas daun, bobot basah tanaman dan bobot kering tanaman. Perlakuan varietas v2 memberikan hasil terbaik pada jumlah daun umur 1-5 MST dan kehijauan daun. Terdapat interaksi pada kombinasi perlakuan konsentrasi POC urine kelinci k2 dan varietas selada v2 pada parameter jumlah daun umur 1 MST.
