Abstract

Indoor localization is an important technique to use to navigate around an office or a building. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is suitable as a technology to replace Global Positioning System (GPS) to navigate in a building. BLE uses radio signal called Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) to determine a BLE device to another. The detected RSSI then given a Kalman Filter to stabilize the signal from noise. Trilateration is used to calculate the intersection between BLE device to determine its coordinate in 2D plane. The coordinate is sent by MQTT to a web interface to visualize the coordinate in real-time. This study uses BLE as a method for indoor localization with an accuracy of 0.9986 m on the x coordinate, and 0,6984 m on the y coordinate, based on a corridor with the size of 25 × 2.5 m

Additional Information: Pendeteksian lokasi dalam ruangan sangatlah penting dalam kantor atau bangunan untuk bernavigasi dalam ruangan. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) dapat digunakan sebagai sistem lokalisasi dalam ruangan pengganti Global Positioning System (GPS). BLE menggunakan kuat sinyal radio Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) dalam menentukan jarak dari suatu perangkat BLE. RSSI yang didapat difilter menggunakan Kalman Filter agar nilai menjadi stabil. Trilaterasi digunakan untuk menentukan titik berpotongan dari perangkat BLE pada bidang dua dimensi dari RSSI yang telah dikonversi menjadi jarak. Hasil koordinat yang diperoleh dikirim menuju web untuk divisualisasikan secara real-time. Pengiriman hasil koordinat melalui MQTT. Penelitian ini menggunakan BLE sebagai metode penentuan lokasi dengan akurasi sebesar 0,9986 m pada sumbu x dari koordinat yang dideteksi dan 0,6984 pada sumbu y yang dideteksi. Hasil deteksi memiliki akurasi yang baik pada koridor sebesar 25 × 2,5 m.
