Abstract

Spreader Bar becomes very important at this time because of the spreader bar actually is a tool that will avoid friction rope slings crane with the workpiece and also to facilitate the movement of the workpiece. One of the functions of the spreader bar is to minimize or eliminate the horizontal force due to "sling angle". Planning begins with an explanation of the background, purpose,, election planning design and calculation of deflection spreader bar spreader bar. In the calculation of the maximum stress, begins by calculating the deflection of the spreader bar to get the required moment of inertia, mass and volume calculation, analysis of shear force and bending moment, axial force calculation work, and the maximum stress analysis. In planning the type of hook or fastener, used hook type LS 31.5 were taken from the International SpanSet catalog. For the simulation of finite element analysis, which will simulate the maximum voltage that the SolidWorks software. Additional Information: Spreader Bar menjadi sangat penting pada saat ini karena spreader bar sejatinya adalah alat bantu yang akan menghindari gesekan tali sling crane dengan benda kerja dan juga untuk memudahkan pergerakan benda kerja. Salah satu fungsi spreader bar yaitu untuk meminimalisir atau menghilangkan horizontal force akibat "sling angle". Perencanaan ini dimulai dengan penjelasan latar belakang, tujuan perencanaan,, pemilihan disain spreader bar dan perhitungan defleksi spreader bar. Dalam perhitungan tegangan maksimum, diawali dengan menghitung defleksi spreader bar untuk mendapatkan momen inersia yang dibutuhkan, perhitungan massa dan volume, analisa gaya geser dan momen lentur, perhitungan gaya aksial yang bekerja, dan analisa tegangan maksimum. Pada perencanaan tipe hook atau pengkait, digunakan tipe hook LS 31,5 yang diambil dari katalog SpanSet Internasional. Untuk simulasi finite element analysis, yang akan mensimulasikan tegangan maksimum yaitu dengan software solidworks. Kata kunci : Spreader bar, defleksi,finite element analysis, solidworks, SpanSet Internasional.
