Abstract

Queues at the Centong Sunda Restaurant are caused by the limited number of facilities available to serve customers, which results in long waiting times for customers to receive service. Customers exhibit a variety of different behaviors in the face of long queues. The purpose of this study was to analyze the customer queuing system at the Centong Sunda Restaurant and to determine the performance of the queuing system at the Centong Sunda Restaurant. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method which uses formulas from Single Channel Single Phase (M/M/I). The results showed that the queue system at the Centong Sunda Restaurant could be seen at the arrival rate of around 21 customers per hour. Service rate 38 people per hour. The average number of customers waiting in the queue (Lq) is 0.68 people. The average customer waiting in the queuing system (Ls) is 1.24 people. The average time spent by customers waiting in line (Wq) is 0.03 hours or about 2 minutes and the average time spent waiting in a queuing system (Ws) is 0.06 hours or about 3 minutes. The estimated utilization rate of service facilities (P) is around 55%, indicating that most of the service facility time is used to serve customers. The probability that there is no queue in the system (Po) is also about 45%, indicating that most of the time the system is not queued, and the system is running well. By understanding these data, Centong Sunda Restaurant can take the necessary actions to improve the performance of the queuing system.

Additional Information: Antrian di Rumah Makan Centong Sunda disebabkan oleh keterbatasan jumlah fasilitas yang tersedia untuk melayani pelanggan, yang mengakibatkan waktu tunggu yang lama bagi pelanggan dalam mendapatkan pelayanan. Pelanggan menunjukkan berbagai perilaku yang berbeda dalam menghadapi antrian yang panjang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sistem antrian pelanggan di Rumah Makan Centong Sunda dan untuk mengetahui kinerja sistem antrian di Rumah Makan Centong Sunda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif dimana menggunakan rumus- rumus dari Single Channel Single Phase (M/M/I). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem Antrian Pada Rumah Makan Centong Sunda dapat diketahui tingkat kedatangan pelanggan sekitar 21 orang per jam. Tingkat pelayanan 38 orang per jam. Rata-rata jumlah pelanggan yang menunggu saat antrian (Lq) 0,68 orang. Rata-rata pelanggan yang menunggu dalam sistem antrian (Ls) 1,24 orang. Waktu rata-rata yang dihabiskan pelanggan untuk menunggu saat antrian (Wq) 0,03 jam atau sekitar 2 menit dan waktu rata-rata yang dihabiskan untuk menunggu dalam sistem antrian (Ws) adalah 0.06 jam atau sekitar 3 menit. Estimasi tingkat pemanfaatan fasilitas pelayanan (P) mencapai sekitar 55%, menandakan bahwa sebagian besar waktu fasilitas pelayanan digunakan untuk melayani pelanggan. Probabilitas tidak adanya antrian dalam sistem (Po) juga sekitar 45%, menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar waktu sistem tidak mengalami antrian, dan sistem berjalan dengan baik. Dengan memahami data-data ini, Rumah Makan Centong Sunda dapat mengambil tindakan yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja sistem antrian.
