Abstract
The agricultural and livestock businesses in Indonesia play a crucial role in supporting economic development and ensuring food security. Among these, the close house chicken coop is a modern facility designed specifically for raising chickens in a closed-system environment. The coop's design allows for optimal temperature, humidity, and air circulation control, creating an ideal environment for the health and growth of the chickens. In the construction of the close house chicken coop, project scheduling is of utmost importance. Therefore, the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) are employed in the project scheduling. The objective of this research is to identify the paths that emerge in the work activities, including the critical path, and to determine the completion time of the critical path. The research findings indicate the existence of three paths in the work activities, with the critical path consisting of activities A, B, C, D, E, F, G, I, J, P, dan Q. Furthermore, based on the research utilizing CPM and PERT methods, the close house chicken coop project can be completed 34 days earlier using CPM and 28 days earlier using PERT compared to the 120-day contractual timeframe. The probability of project completion on time is 95%. These methods aim to reduce project delays and ensure successful and timely project delivery.

| Additional Information: | Bisnis di sektor peternakan dan pertanian sangat penting dalam mendukung perkembangan ekonomi dan menjaga ketahanan pangan di Indonesia. Kandang ayam close house merupakan jenis kandang modern yang dirancang khusus untuk beternak ayam dengan sistem tertutup. Desain kandang ini memungkinkan pengaturan suhu, kelembaban, dan sirkulasi udara yang optimal, sehingga menciptakan lingkungan yang ideal bagi kesehatan dan pertumbuhan ayam. Dalam pembangunan kandang ayam close house, penjadwalan proyek menjadi hal yang sangat penting. Untuk itu, digunakan metode CPM dan PERT dalam penjadwalan proyek ini. Kedua metode ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi keterlambatan dalam pengerjaan proyek. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi jalur-jalur yang muncul dalam aktivitas pekerjaan, termasuk jalur kritis, serta untuk menentukan waktu penyelesaian dalam jalur kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga jalur dalam aktivitas pekerjaan, di mana jalur kritis terdiri dari aktivitas A, B, C, D, E, F, G, I, J, P, dan Q. Selain itu, berdasarkan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode CPM dan PERT, proyek kandang ayam close house dapat selesai 34 hari lebih cepat jika menggunakan metode CPM dan 28 hari lebih cepat jika menggunakan metode PERT dibandingkan dengan waktu yang telah ditetapkan dalam kontrak selama 120 hari.
