Abstract

Serang Hydro Farm is an agricultural business that provides fresh hydroponic vegetables including bok choy, lettuce, mustard greens, and water spinach, besides that it also provides a variety of hydroponic equipment, training services, consulting services and hydroponic module manufacturing services for both hobby and industry. The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of consumers in buying hydroponic vegetables at Serang Hydro Farm in Serang City and to analyze consumer perceptions in buying hydroponic vegetables based on hydroponic vegetable attributes and place attributes at Serang Hydro Farm in Serang City. The analysis technique used in this study is the average score analysis. Characteristics of respondents based on gender 86,25% female, based on age 41-50 years 35%, based on marital status 81,25% married, based on number of family members 68,75% 3-4 people, based on lastest education level 71,25% Senior High School, based on type of work 51,23% housewives, based on the income level of 52,5% less than Rp. 500,000. Hydroponic vegetable consumers' perceptions of vegetable attributes are good criteria with a score of 3,50. Hydroponic vegetable consumers' perceptions of place attributes obtained a score of 3,77 which is a good criterion.

Additional Information: Serang Hydro Farm merupakan usaha pertanian yang menyediakan sayuran hidroponik segar antara lain bok choy, selada, sawi, dan kangkung, selain itu juga menyediakan berbagai peralatan hidroponik, jasa pelatihan, jasa konsultasi dan jasa pembuatan modul hidroponik baik untuk hobi maupun industri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik konsumen dalam membeli sayuran hidroponik di Serang Hydro Farm Kota Serang dan menganalisis persepsi konsumen dalam membeli sayuran hidroponik berdasarkan atribut sayuran hidroponik dan atribut tempat di Serang Hydro Farm Kota Serang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis skor rata-rata. Karakteristik responden berdasarkan jenis kelamin 86,25% perempuan, berdasarkan umur 41-50 tahun 35%, berdasarkan status perkawinan 81,25% menikah, berdasarkan jumlah anggota keluarga 68,75% 3-4 orang, berdasarkan terakhir tingkat pendidikan 71,25% SMA, berdasarkan jenis pekerjaan 51,23% ibu rumah tangga, berdasarkan tingkat pendapatan 52,5% kurang dari Rp. 500.000. Persepsi konsumen sayuran hidroponik terhadap atribut sayuran berkriteria baik dengan skor 3,50. Persepsi konsumen sayuran hidroponik terhadap atribut tempat memperoleh skor sebesar 3,77 yang merupakan kriteria baik.
