Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) acts as a measuring tool used to determine the quality of human life. With a population of 262,000,000 people, Indonesia became the most populous country in the ASEAN region in 2018 and ranked highest. In Indonesia, in the last 6 years, it can be seen that the HDI value has continued to increase, although the percentage is still small. The aim of this research is to identify the partial influence of government spending in the health, education and housing or public facilities sectors on human development in Indonesia in 2017-2022. This research uses quantitative methodology with a social approach. In this research, a test was carried out on whether three independent variables, government spending/investment for health and education, as well as government spending on housing and other public services, influenced the dependent variable, namely human development. The research results show that government expenditure variables in the fields of health, education, and public facilities/housing have a positive and significant influence on Indonesia's HDI in 34 provinces in 2017-2022.

Additional Information:	Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) berperan sebagai alat ukur yang digunakan untuk menentukan kualitas hidup manusia. Dengan populasi sebanyak 262.000.000 jiwa, Indonesia menjadi negara terpadat di kawasan ASEAN pada tahun 2018 dan menduduki peringkat tertinggi. Pada Indonesia 6 tahun terakhir dapat diketahui bahwa nilai IPM terus mengalami kenaikan meskipun dalam jumlah persentase yang masih kecil. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh parsial dari pengeluaran pemerintah di sektor kesehatan, pendidikan dan perumahan atau fasilitas umum terhadap perkembangan manusia di Indonesia Tahun 2017-2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif dengan pendekatan sosiatif. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan pengujian terhadap apakah tiga variabel independen pengeluaran/investasi pemerintah peruntukan kesehatan dan pendidikan, serta pengeluaran pemerintah untuk perumahan dan layanan publik lainnya mempengaruhi variabel dependen, yaitu pembangunan manusia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel pengeluaran pemerintah bidang kesehatan, pendidikan, dan fasilitas umum/perumahan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap IPM Indonesia di 34 Provinsi pada tahun 2017-2022.
