Abstract
Human resources (HR) play an important role in achieving organizational goals. However, PT XYZ HR faces problems in the distribution of employee incentives and bonuses that affect performance. Therefore, this study aims to assess the effect of incentives and bonuses on employee performance at PT XYZ using a psychological appraisals approach, identify factors that cause mental workload, and provide suggestions for improvement. Testing involved multiple linear regression analysis and subjective workload assessment technique. The sample t-test results show that bonuses have a positive significant effect on employee performance (significant value 0.000 < 0.05), while incentives also have a positive but less significant effect (significant value 0.000 < 0.05). Anova test results show that bonuses have a more significant effect on employee performance than incentives (value 0.000 < 0.05) with an R-square value of 30.3%. In addition, the most dominant mental workload is Time Load, which suggests the need for additional employees. Thus, this study shows that bonuses have a more significant impact on employee performance compared to incentives, and companies need to consider adding employees to reduce mental workload. Proposed improvements are needed to improve employee performance at PT XYZ.

Additional Information: | Sumber daya manusia (SDM) memegang peran penting dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi. Namun SDM PT XYZ menghadapi masalah dalam pembagian insentif dan bonus karyawan yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai pengaruh insentif dan bonus terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT XYZ menggunakan pendekatan psychological appraissals, mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab beban kerja mental, dan memberikan usulan perbaikan. Pengujian melibatkan analisis regresi linear berganda dan subjective workload assessment technique. Hasil uji sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa bonus memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan (nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05), sementara insentif juga berpengaruh positif tetapi kurang signifikan (nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05). Hasil uji anova menunjukkan bahwa bonus lebih berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan daripada insentif (nilai 0,000 < 0,05) dengan nilai R-square sebesar 30,3 %. Selain itu, beban kerja mental yang paling dominan adalah Time Load, yang menyarankan perlunya penambahan karyawan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bonus memiliki dampak yang lebih signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dibandingkan dengan insentif, dan perusahaan perlu mempertimbangkan penambahan karyawan untuk mengurangi beban kerja mental. Usulan perbaikan diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di PT XYZ. | |||||||||
