Abstract
Squid is the highest contributor to the production value at the Karangantu fishing port in 2022, amounting to IDR 11.5 billion (33%) with a production volume of 235 tons (9%). Squid is a high economic value commodity, so to meet the needs of consumers far from the port community, there is a need for intermediaries in distributing squid. Therefore, the squid marketing process at Karangantu Fishing Port needs to be identified from the marketing channel, marketing margin and efficiency. This research was conducted from January to August 2023 at Karangantu Fishing Port, Serang City, Banten Province. The method used in this research was the survey method. The marketing channel was analyzed descriptively. Margin and marketing efficiency was analyzed by the fisherman's share method. The results show that the squid marketing channel in Karangantu fishing port showed 5 type, with distribution actors being fishermen, collector, market trader, retailers, and motorcycle trader. The most significant marketing margin is in squid grade 4 distribution channel IV, market trader with IDR 10,000 (28.6%), and the lowest is in squid grade 3 distribution channel II, retailers with an IDR of 5,000 (11.1%). Squid marketing in PPN Karangantu is quite efficient because the efficient value of the producer's share calculation has an average value of 74.12%.

Additional Information: | Cumi-cumi merupakan penyumbang nilai produksi tertinggi di pelabuhan perikanan Karangantu pada tahun 2022, yaitu sebesar Rp 11,5 milyar (33%) dengan volume produksi 235 ton (9%). Cumi-cumi merupakan komoditas yang bernilai ekonomis tinggi, sehingga untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen yang jauh dari masyarakat pelabuhan, maka diperlukan perantara dalam mendistribusikan cumi-cumi. Oleh karena itu, proses pemasaran cumi-cumi di Pelabuhan Perikanan Karangantu perlu diidentifikasi dari saluran pemasaran, margin pemasaran dan efisiensinya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari sampai Agustus 2023 di Pelabuhan Perikanan Karangantu, Kota Serang, Provinsi Banten. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Saluran pemasaran dianalisis secara deskriptif. Margin dan efisiensi pemasaran dianalisis dengan metode fisherman's share. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa saluran pemasaran cumi-cumi di pelabuhan perikanan Karangantu terdiri dari lima jenis, dengan pelaku distribusi yaitu nelayan, tengkulak, agen, pelele, dan bakul. Margin pemasaran yang paling besar terdapat pada cumi-cumi kelas 4 saluran distribusi IV, agen sebesar Rp 10.000,- (28,6%), dan yang paling kecil terdapat pada cumi-cumi kelas 3 saluran distribusi II, bakul sebesar Rp 5.000,- (11,1%). Pemasaran cumi-cumi di PPN Karangantu sudah cukup efisien karena nilai efisien dari perhitungan producer's share memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 74,12%. | |||||||||
