Abstract
Cilegon is a city located in the province of Banten. Cilegon is known as an industrial city and is a center for industrial activity. With so much industrial activity in the city, transportation plays a very important role. Road traffic signs can provide road users with information about regulations and instructions needed to achieve safe driving, as regulated by PERMENHUB PM 13 of 2014. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct an evaluation study of traffic signs based on road safety on the road sections studied. The purpose of this study is to determine the condition of the traffic signs and the feasibility of the traffic signs along the road sections reviewed. And to find out whether the traffic signs on the road sections reviewed already meet the criteria for safe roads. The research method used in this study belongs to the quantitative research type. Quantitative research is a research method that uses numbers starting from data collection, interpretation of these data and the appearance of the results. The results of this study were obtained on the South Ring Road according to PERMENHUB PM 13 of 2014 regulations regarding the condition of traffic signs, with 66.66% good sign conditions and 44.44% bad. Regarding the feasibility of traffic signs, out of a total of 6 signs, there are 4 signs that meet regulatory standards with a percentage value of 66.66% and there are 2 signs that do not meet regulatory standards with a percentage value of 44.44%. The availability of traffic signs is still minimal, there are 6 signs, there are 4 signs that meet standards and there are 2 signs that do not meet standards, this proves that the available traffic signs do not yet support safe roads.

| Additional Information: | Kota Cilegon adalah sebuah kota yang berada di provinsi Banten. Kota cilegon disebut sebagai kota perindustrian dan merupakan pusat kegiatan industri. Dengan banyaknya aktifitas industri pada kota tersebut bidang transportasi sangat lah berperan penting. Rambu lalu lintas jalan dapat memberikan informasi kepada pengguna jalan tentang peraturan dan petunjuk yang diperlukan untuk mencapai keselamatan berkendara hal ini telah diatur oleh PERMENHUB PM 13 Tahun 2014. Oleh karna itu, perlu dilakukan studi evaluasi rambu-rambu lalu lintas berdasarkan jalan berkeselamatan pada ruas jalan yang diteliti. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keadaan kondisi rambu-rambu dan kelayakan rambu-rambu sepanjang ruas jalan yang ditinjau. Serta mengetahui apakah rambu-rambu pada ruas jalan yang ditinjau sudah memenuhi kriteria jalan berkeselamatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam studi ini termasuk kedalam jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian kuantitatif adalah metode penelitian yang menggunakan angka mulai dari pengumpulan data, penafsiran data tersebut serta penampilan hasilnya. Hasil penelitian ini didapat pada ruas Jalan Lingkar Selatan menurut peraturan PERMENHUB PM 13 Tahun 2014 tentang keadaan kondisi rambu lalu lintas, dengan kondisi rambu 66,66% baik dan 44,44% buruk. Kelayakan rambu lalu lintas, dari total 6 rambu terdapat 4 rambu yang sesuai dengan standar peraturan dengan nilai persentase 66,66 % dan terdapat 2 rambu yang tidak sesuai dengan standar peraturan dengan nilai persentase 44,44 %. Ketersediaan rambu lalu lintas masih minim terdapat 6 buah rambu, terdapat 4 rambu yang sesuai dengan standar dan terdapat 2 rambu yang tidak sesuai dengan standar hal ini membuktikan rambu lalu lintas yang tersedia belum mendukung untuk jalan berkeselamatan. | |||||||||
