Abstract
High blood pressure or hypertension is a disorder of the circulatory system that causes an increase in blood pressure above normal values, namely when experiencing a state of systolic blood pressure equal to or above 140 mmHg and / or diastolic blood pressure equal to or above 90 mmHg. The prevalence of hypertension in Serang City in 2018 was 29.28% and in the Singandaru Health Center Serang City in 2022 it reached 6,161 patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutrient intake and blood pressure in adults at the Singandaru Health Center Serang City. The study was conducted from May to July using quantitative methods with a cross-sectional research design. Samples were taken using purposive sampling techniques as many as 102 adults. Nutrient intake was measured using 1-year SQ-FFQ, and blood pressure was measured using a digital Sphygmomanometer. The results of this study showed that most respondents had excess intake of energy (62.7%), protein (74.5%), fat (84.3%), and sodium (78.4%), while intake of carbohydrates (46.1%) and fiber (69.6%) was less. The results of the chi-square test analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between energy intake (P-value 0.022), protein (P-value 0.049), fat (P-value 0.011), carbohydrates (P-value 0.041), sodium (P-value 0.023), and fiber (P-value 0.048) with blood pressure in adults at the Singandaru Health Center Serang City. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between nutrient intake (energy, protein, fat, carbohydrates, sodium and fiber) with blood pressure in adults at the Singandaru Health Center Serang City.

Additional Information: | Tekanan darah tinggi atau hipertensi adalah gangguan pada sistem peredaran darah yang menyebabkan kenaikan tekanan darah diatas nilai normal yaitu ketika mengalami keadaan tekanan darah sistolik sama dengan atau diatas 140 mmHg dan/atau tekanan darah diastolik sama dengan atau diatas 90 mmHg. Prevalensi hipertensi Kota Serang tahun 2018 adalah 29,28% dan di Puskesmas Singandaru Kota Serang tahun 2022 sendiri mencapai 6.161 penderita. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara asupan zat gizi dengan tekanan darah pada orang dewasa di Puskesmas Singandaru Kota Serang. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei hingga Juli menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 102 orang dewasa. Asupan zat gizi diukur menggunakan SQ-FFQ 1 tahun, dan tekanan darah diukur menggunakan Sphygmomanometer digital. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sebagian besar responden memiliki asupan energi (62,7%), protein (74,5%), lemak (84,3%), dan natrium (78,4%) berlebih, sedangkan asupan karbohidrat (46,1%) dan serat (69,6%) kurang. Hasil analisis uji chi-square menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan energi (P-value 0,022), protein (P-value 0,049), lemak (P-value 0,011), karbohidrat (P-value 0.041), natrium (P-value 0,023), dan serat (P-value 0,048) dengan tekanan darah pada orang dewasa di Puskesmas Singandaru Kota Serang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan zat gizi (energi, protein, lemak, karbohidrat, natrium, dan serat) dengan tekanan darah pada orang dewasa di Puskesmas Singandaru Kota Serang. | |||||||||
