Abstract
The role of the Election Supervisory Body in South Tangerang City in Supervising the State Civil Apparatus The 2019 Presidential Election is currently still prone to violations of the State Civil Apparatus in maintaining the non�neutrality of the 2019 presidential election. The purpose of this research is to explain the role of the Tangerang City Election Supervisory Board in handling non-neutral state civil apparatus. The research uses the theory of Biddle Thomas, a role theory that in detail is a formulation that regulates behavior and expectations from certain power holders. In the theory of Biddle Thomas, there are five terms of position behavior, namely, Expectations, Norms, Forms of Behavior, and Evaluation and Sanctions. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. And data collection techniques are based on data collection and interview methods. The results of the research that the role of the SouthTangerang City Election Supervisory Agency has carried out in the form of socialization to prevent election violations and invite the public to be involved in elections, but in the field, there are still many violations of the state civil apparatus in the southern city of Tangerang which are reported from the public to form an election monitoring agency. So the researcher concludes that the role of the Election Supervisory Body is still going well.

| Additional Information: | Peranan Badan Pengawas Pemilu di Kota Tangerang Selatan dalam Mengawasi Aparatur Sipil Negara Pemilihan Presiden 2019 saat ini masih terjadi Rawan pelanggaran Aparatur Sipil Negara dalam menjaga tidak netral nya pemilihan presiden 2019. Dalam tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan bahwa peran Badan Pengawas Pemilu Kota Tangerang dalam menangani aparatur sipil negara yang tidak bersikap netral. Penelitian menggunakan teori biddle thomas, teori peran yang secara rinci merupakan rumusan yang mengatur perilaku serta terdapat pengharapan di dalamnya dari pemegang kekuasaan tertentu. Dalam teori biddle thomas terdapat lima peristilahan perilaku kedudukan ialah, harapan, norma, wujud perilaku, serta evaluasi dan sanksi. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan Kualitatif Deskriptif. Serta teknik pengumpulan data berdasarkan pengumpulan data dan metode wawancara. Hasil penelitian bahwa Peran Badan Pengawas Pemilu Kota Tangerang sudah melakukan berupa sosialisasi untuk pencegahan pelanggaran pemilu serta mengajak masyarakat ikut terlibat dalam pemilu, akan tetapi di lapangan masih banyak pelanggaran aparatur sipil negara di kota tangerang selatan yang dilaporkan dari masyarakat hingga membentuk lembaga pemantau pemilu. Maka peneliti menyimpulkan Peran badan Pengawas Pemilu masih berjalan dengan baik. | ||||||
