Abstract

This study is due to a phenomenon in District Pacet Regency of Cianjur where this place is one of the highest producer of vegetables in West Java Province. Even so, fluctuation happen in the production of vegetables in this district both in terms of the quantity and the type of commodity produced within five years. The method used in this research are questionnaire for primary data with total 42 respondents. The type of this research is a descriptive quantitative study. Validity and Reliability test is using SPSS and also to analyze the correlation between knowledge and skills of the farmers towards farming productivity. The result of this study indicates that the knowledge of the farmers is in the middle category with 64,3% and skills of the farmers are also in the middle category with 59,5%, whilst the farming productivity are in the high category with 90,4%. The analysis result off the correlation between farmers knowledge and farmers skill towards farming productivity using rank spearman test indicates that there is a correlation which can be seen from the significance value 0,000 where 0,000 < 0,05 among the three variables that are farmers knowledge (X1) towards farming productivity (Y2) and farmers skills (X2) towards farming productivity (Y2). Additional Information:	penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh sebuah fenomena di Kecamatan Pacet Kabupaten Cianjur dimana daerah ini merupakan salah satu penghasil sayuran tertinggi di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Meskipun demikian, terjadi fluktuasi pada produksi sayuran di kabupaten ini baik dari segi dalam kurun waktu lima tahun, baik dari segi jumlah maupun jenis komoditas yang dihasilkan. Metode Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner untuk data primer dengan jumlah responden. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Uji Validitas dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan SPSS dan juga untuk menganalisis korelasi antara pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani terhadap produktivitas usahatani. Hasil dari penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan petani berada pada kategori sedang dengan 64,3% dan keterampilan petani juga berada pada kategori sedang dengan 59,5%, sedangkan produktivitas usahatani berada pada kategori tinggi yaitu sebesar 90,4%. Hasil analisis hubungan antara pengetahuan petani dan keterampilan petani terhadap produktivitas usahatani produktivitas usahatani dengan menggunakan uji rank spearman menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang dilihat dari nilai signifikansi 0,000 dimana 0,000 < 0,05 diantara ketiga variabel yaitu pengetahuan petani (X1) terhadap produktivitas usahatani (Y2) dan keterampilan petani (X2) terhadap produktivitas usahatani (Y2).
