Abstract

Penelitian ini memberikan sebuah pandangan tentang pengalaman mengajar guru pemula di pendidikan kejuruan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana para peserta memandang pengalaman mengajar mereka di pendidikan kejuruan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologis. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan wawancara kelompok terfokus, kemudian dianalisis melalui dua tahap. Pertama, pengalaman mengajar peserta diidentifikasi secara manual yang dikembangkan melalui pendekatan induktif. Selanjutnya transkip wawancara diperiksa dengan teknik analisis fenomenologi interpretative. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dari pengalaman mengajar guru pemula teridentifikasi dalam 5 aspek yaitu: (1) pemahaman tentang guru, (2) kegiatan pengajaran guru, (3) permasalahan dalam pengajaran, (4) peran teknologi dalam pendidikan, dan (5) kondisi psikolog guru saat mengajar. Implikasi dan prakteknya agar terbentuk intervensi yang dapat memberikan informasi bagi perguruan tinggi agar meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran sehingga dapat mencetak calon guru vokasi yang memiliki karakter, kompetensi yang baik serta memberikan wawasan kepada mahasiswa yang hendak ingin melanjutkan karirnya di dunia pendidikan khususnya menjadi guru di pendidikan kejuruan. Additional Information: This research provides an insight into the teaching experiences of novice teachers in vocational education. This study aims to describe how participants view their teaching experience in vocational education. This research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. Data was collected through interviews and focus group interviews, then analyzed in two stages. First, participants' teaching experiences were identified manually which were developed through an inductive approach. Next, the interview transcripts were examined using interpretative phenomenological analysis techniques. The results of this research show that from the participants' teaching experience, 5 aspects were identified, namely: (1) understanding of teachers, (2) teachers' teaching activities, (3) problems in teaching, (4) the role of technology in education, and (5) the condition of psychologists. teacher while teaching. The implications and practice are to form interventions that can provide information for universities to improve the quality of teaching so that they can produce prospective vocational teachers who have good character, competence and provide insight to students who want to continue their careers in the world of education, especially becoming teachers in vocational education.
