Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to provide an in-depth analysis of students' perceptions, motivation and achievement regarding the transition of English language learning from online to offline. This research presents a case study that reveals the phenomenon of learning transition from online to offline. This research used a qualitative approach and involved 14 ninth grade students at SMP Peradaban Serang. Data collection methods include observation, questionnaires and interviews as well as value documents. The research findings produce an interrelated relationship between perception, motivation and student achievement because the results of student perception have a positive perception and regarding motivation there is an increase in motivation and finally their achievement of grades in offline learning is around 7 out of 14 students or as much as 50% compared to online learning , while there are fewer students who consistently achieve grades both online and offline, namely around 2 out of 14 students or 15%. Finally, there were also fewer students who experienced a decline in grades due to the switch from online to offline English learning, namely around 5 out of 14 students or 36%.

Additional Information: Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan analisis mendalam tentang persepsi, motivasi dan pencapaian siswa terhadap transisi pembelajaran Bahasa inggris dari online ke offline. Penelitian ini menyajikan studi kasus yang mengungkap fenomena transisi pembelajaran dari online ke offline. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan melibatkan 14 siswa kelas sembilan SMP Peradaban Serang. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, angket, dan wawancara serta dokumen nilai. Temuan penelitian menghasilkan hubungan yang saling terkait antara persepsi, motivasi dan pencapaian siswa karena hasil persepsi siswa mempunyai persepsi yang positif dan mengenai motivasi mengalami peningkatan motivasi dan yang terakhir pencapaian nilai mereka pada pembelajaran offline sekitar 7 dari 14 siswa atau sebanyak 50% dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran online, sedangkan siswa yang konsisten meraih nilai baik online maupun offline lebih sedikit yaitu sekitar 2 dari 14 siswa atau sebanyak 15%. Terakhir, siswa yang mengalami penurunan nilai akibat peralihan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris dari online ke offline juga lebih sedikit, yaitu sekitar 5 dari 14 siswa atau 36%.
