Abstract
The implementation of inclusive education is a government step to provide equal rights in obtaining quality education for every child. The inclusion schools in this study were conducted in two schools, namely SMPN 12 and SMP Peradaban in Serang City. The index for inclusion is used as a reference indicator in determining the effectiveness of the school program providing inclusive education in Serang City which includes three main dimensions, namely the dimension of creating an inclusive culture, the dimension of creating inclusive policies and the dimension of developing inclusive practices. The purpose of this study is to describe, explain or explain the conditions of implementing inclusive schools in Serang City by using a qualitative descriptive research approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation methods. The validity of the data is done by data triangulation. The data were analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that inclusive schools in Serang City have implemented inclusion programs in accordance with the three dimensions that are the main reference in the index for inclusion, it's just that there are still limited facilities and infrastructure conditions, there is no additional curriculum support outside the regular curriculum, the existence of GPK and not yet available. optimal utilization of resources around the school environment.

Additional Information: | Penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusif merupakan langkah pemerintah untuk memberikan persamaan hak dalam memperoleh pendidikan yang bermutu bagi setiap anak. Sekolah inklusi dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pada dua sekolah, yaitu SMPN 12 dan SMP Peradaban di Kota Serang. Index for inclusion digunakan sebagai indikator acuan dalam mengetahui efektivitas program sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif di Kota Serang yang mencakup tiga dimensi utama, yaitu dimensi menciptakan budaya inklusif, dimensi menciptakan kebijakan inklusif dan dimensi berkembangnya praktik inklusif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan, menjelaskan atau memaparkan kondisi pelaksanaan sekolah inklusi di Kota Serang dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan cara triangulasi data. Data dianalisis dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah inklusi di Kota Serang sudah melaksanakan program inklusi sesuai dengan tiga dimensi yang menjadi acuan utama pada index for inclusion, hanya saja masih ditemui kondisi sarana dan prasarana yang terbatas, belum adanya dukungan kurikulum tambahan diluar kurikulum regular, keberadaan GPK dan belum optimalnya pemanfaatan sumber daya di sekitar lingkungan sekolah. | |||||||||
