Abstract

The goal of this project is to create a snakes-and-ladders-based evaluation tool for atomic structure materials and the periodic system of elements. The ADDIE model is used for research and development in this study. The ADDIE development model has five stages: analysis (looking at learning needs), design (creating a product based on the analysis's findings), development (creating a product), implementation (testing the product in the real world), and evaluation (looking at the product's outcomes). The study's findings include a snakes and ladders-based assessment tool that is thought to be highly practicable, with an average percentage of 84.63% based on the characteristics of content, language, presentation, and images that are acceptable. In addition, 35 class X students from one of the state high schools in Serang City were used to test this assessment tool. Students responded well to the evaluation tool that was created, and as a result, it obtained an average score of 84.92% with extremely suitable criteria. We can therefore draw the conclusion that this evaluation tool is appropriate for use as a different assessment method during the evaluation learning process.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian pada materi struktur atom dan sistem periodik unsur menggunakan ular tangga. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Model pengembangan ADDIE terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu analysis: menganalisis kebutuhan dalam pembelajaran, design: merancang produk berdasarkan hasil analisis, development: mengembangkan suatu produk, implementation: uji coba produk ke lapangan dan evaluation: mengevaluasi hasil uji coba produk. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu sebuah produk instrumen penilaian menggunakan ular tangga yang dinilai sangat layak dengan presentase rata-rata sebesar 84.63% berdasarkan aspek kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, penyajian dan kegrafikaan. Selain itu instrumen penilaian ini telah dilakukan uji coba kepada 35 peserta didik kelas X disalah satu sekolah SMA Negeri di Kota Serang. Instrumen penilaian yang telah dikembangkan mendapatkan respon positif dari peserta didik sehingga instrumen penilaian ini mendapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 84.92% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwasannya instrumen penilaian ini layak digunakan sebagai alternatif teknik penilaian dalam mengevaluasi proses pembelajaran
