Abstract

The purpose of financial literacy research for young children is to gather information about monetary value introduced from childhood, introducing differences in needs or wants, and encourage children's desire to save. The method used in this study is the literature review method using critical assessment techniques. Research results show that financial literacy education for young children must be taught from an early age because it has been recognized by previous researchers as an introduction to financial literacy, it is recommended so that children can gain long term money management expertise. It can be concluded that the study of “Introduction to Early Childhood Financial Literacy” it is very important to start at an early age. Providing an understanding of financial literacy, children need to be familiar with the basics of different currencies, distinguish between needs and wants as well as arouse interest in savings activities.

Additional Information: Tujuan dari penelitian pengenalan literasi keuangan anak usia dini untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai nilai mata uang yang dikenalkan pada anak usia dini, memperkenalkan perbedaan kebutuhan dan keinginan serta menumbuhkan keinginan anak dalam menabung. Metode yang diguanakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian literatur dengan menggunakan teknik critical appraisal. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa pengenalan literasi keuangan anak usia dini harus dikenalkan sejak dini karena telah diakui oleh peneliti sebelumnya dalam pengenalan literasi keuangan harus diperkenalkan agar anak dapat memiliki keahlian dalam mengelola uang untuk jangka panjang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian mengenai “Pengenalan Literasi Keuangan Anak Usia Dini” sangat penting untuk dikenalkan dari sejak dini. Dalam memberikan pemahaman terkait literasi keuangan, anak harus diperkenalkan konsep dasar terlebih dahulu mengenai ragam jenis uang, membedakan kebutuhan dan keinginan serta menumbuhkan minat dalam melakukan kegiatan menabung.
