Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop media that can visualize abstract concepts in the concept of genetic material. The media is expected to be able to make the learning process more effective and efficient. This research method is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model, which consists of analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate stages. However, this research only reached the develop stage. ARtik media development using blender software, figma website, zapworks designer, sketchfab, and canva. This research was conducted in November 2022-May 2023 at SMAN 3 Tangerang Regency with a sample of fifteen students in class XI MIPA 6. The due diligence test based on media experts showed a score of 81.7% with a very good interpretation. This percentage is the average rating in the aspects of software engineering, visual communication, and learning design. Due diligence based on material experts shows a score of 80.9% in the material aspect and 77.5% in the language aspect. Limited trials (pilot tests) on fifteen respondents showed a percentage of 86.5% on the usefulness aspect, 89.7% on the ease of use aspect, 92.1% on the ease of learning aspect, and 90.1% on the satisfaction aspect.

Additional Information: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media yang dapat memvisualisasikan konsep abstrak pada konsep materi genetik. Media tersebut diharapkan mampu membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE, yang terdiri dari tahap analyze, design, develop, implement, dan evaluate. Namun, pada penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap develop (pengembangan). Pengembangan media ARtik menggunakan software blender, website figma, zapworks designer, sketchfab, dan canva. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan November 2022-Mei 2023 di SMAN 3 Kabupaten Tangerang dengan sampel lima belas siswa kelas XI MIPA 6. Uji kelayakan berdasarkan Ahli Media menunjukkan persentase sebesar 81,7% dengan interpretasi sangat baik. Persentase tersebut merupakan rata-rata penilaian pada aspek rekayasa perangkat lunak, komunikasi visual, dan desain pembelajaran. Uji kelayakan berdasarkan ahli materi menunjukkan nilai sebesar 80,9% pada aspek materi dan 77,5% pada aspek bahasa. Uji coba terbatas (pilot test) terhadap lima belas responden menunjukkan nilai sebesar 86,5% pada aspek usefulness (kebermanfaatan), 89,7% pada aspek ease of use (kemudahan penggunaan), 92,1% pada aspek ease of learning (kemudahan pembelajaran), dan 90,1% pada aspek satisfaction (kepuasan).
