Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the type and concentration of vitamin B1 on the induction of begonia polkadot (Begonia maculate) roots with water propagation techniques. This research is an experimental research conducted at Mekar Hurip Nursery, Sukamantri Village, Tamansari District, Bogor Regency, West Java. This study used a Factorial Block Randomized Design (BRD) consisting of two factors, namely the type and concentration of vitamin B1. Vitamin B1 treatment consists of 3 levels, namely Vitamin B1 Mekar Hurip plus (V1), Vitamin B1 Grow Quick (V2), and Vitamin B1 Liquinox Star (V3). While the treatment of vitamin B1 concentration consists of 6 levels, namely concentrations of 0 ml / l (K0), 2 ml / l (K1), 4 ml / l (K2), 6 ml / l (K3), 8 ml / l (K4), and 10 ml / l (K5). The treatment is repeated 3 times. The observed parameters consist of root emergence time (HST), bud emergence time (HST), root length, number of roots, number of leaves, and percentage of live cuttings. The results showed that the type of vitamin B1 Grow Quick with a concentration of K2 (4 ml / l) had the best influence on root emergence time, root longevity (2, 3, 4, 5, and 12 MST), and the number of leaves aged 8 MST.

Perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. | ||||||||||||
