Abstract
This thesis aims for describe the public perception of the existence of punk children around the Red Light Ciruas. This research was conducted based on the development of Ciruas community into a heterogeneous area and the result of communication with local residents about his perception of the presence of punk children at the Ciruas red light. This research was using descriptive methods by describing what is about the public perception of the existence of Ciruas punk. This research was describes the changes in Ciruas District geographically; historical development seen from the population growth rate until 2018 reached 0.53 percent; the livelihoods of Ciruas residents are more in agriculture, livestock, and Fisheries. There are deviations in the behavior of punks that trigger unrest among local residents and lead to bad perceptions. Data obtained from informants showed that the appearance of punks in all black, shabby clothes, colored hair, pierced ears and tattoos unsettled most Ciruas residents. The nightlife and the commotion made by punk children disturbed the residents of Ciruas. The habit of some punks who are drunk or “ngelem” adds to the concerns of Ciruas residents will adversely affect other Ciruas children. The results obtained from this study are that the existence of punk children is considered disturbing by local residents. In particular, the presence of punk children at the Ciruas traffic light disturbs the peace of road users, therefore the local government must pay more attention to children on the street and build safe and comfortable spaces so that the presence of punk children on the streets does not disturb local residents.

| Additional Information: | Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi masyarakat mengenai keberadaan anak punk di sekitar lampu merah Ciruas. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan perkembangan masyarakat Ciruas menjadi daerah yang heterogen dan hasil komunikasi dengan penduduk setempat tentang persepsinya terhadap keberadaan anak-anak punk di lampu merah Ciruas.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan cara menggambarkan apa adanya mengenai persepsi masyarakat Ciruas terhadap keberadaan anak punk. Penelitian ini menggambarkan perubahan Kecamatan Ciruas secara geografis; sejarah perkembangan dilihat dari laju pertumbuhan penduduk hingga tahun 2018 mencapai 0,53 persen; mata pencaharian penduduk Ciruas lebih banyak bidang pertanian, peternakan, dan perikanan. Terdapat penyimpangan perilaku anak punk yang memicu keresahan warga setempat dan memunculkan persepsi buruk. Data yang diperoleh dari informan menunjukkan bahwa penampilan anak punk dengan pakaian serba hitam, lusuh, rambut berwarna, telinga bertindik, dan bertato meresahkan sebagian besar warga Ciruas. Kehidupan malam dan keributan yang dilakukan anak punk membuat warga Ciruas terganggu. Kebiasaan sebagian anak punk yang mabuk atau “ngelem” menambah kekhawatiran warga Ciruas akan berpengaruh buruk kepada anak-anak Ciruas lainnya. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini yaitu keberadaan anak punk dianggap menganggu oleh warga sekitar. Terutama keberadaan anak punk di lampu merah Ciruas pun mengusik ketenangan pengguna jalan, oleh karena itu pemerintah daerah harus lebih memperhatikan lagi anak-anak yang berada di jalan dan membangun ruang aman serta nyaman agar kehadiran anak punk di jalanan tidak menganggu warga sekitar. | |||||||||
