Abstract

Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University is increasingly enthusiastic about becoming a smart & green campus. The Chancellor has provided 2 units of 3/4 buses to the Untirta academic community to facilitate access to the Untirta Sindangsari and Cilegon campuses, in addition to reducing the number of vehicles entering campus and to create an environmentally friendly campus environment. Therefore, to find out the performance of the Untirta shuttle bus, it is necessary to evaluate the operational performance of the shuttle bus in order to know what performance needs to be improved so that the Untirta academic community feels good service on campus transportation. The aim of this research is to evaluate the operational performance of the Untirta shuttle bus and recommend the operational performance of the Untirta shuttle bus that will be used. The analysis used is quantitative descriptive analysis and the SWOT method to determine performance and strategy development by distributing questionnaires to users on the spot. The sample used is 100 respondents. The data taken is data on the number of passengers and travel time. The results of the research show that the characteristics of the respondents can be seen that the profile of the Untirta shuttle bus users at the Serang campus and the Untirta Cilegon campus is predominantly female (65%) and aged 16 - 25 (82%) with the majority of users being students (81%), as well as the reasons for using the shuttle. Untirta buses due to fees with a percentage (62%). Meanwhile, the operational performance of the shuttle bus is quite good with travel times in accordance with the standards set by the Directorate General of Land Transportation No. 687 of 2002 and the load factor must be increased because for the route to the Cilegon campus the load factor value is less than 70% and for the route to the campus Sindangsari's load factor value exceeds capacity, namely 124%. Based on the SWOT results, the development strategy is in quadrant 4, namely Defensive Strategy, existing strengths and opportunities cannot be used for strategy development.

Rektorat telah menyediakan 2 unit bus 3/4 kepada civitas akademika Untirta guna mempermudah akses ke kampus Untirta Sindangsari dan Cilegon, selain untuk mengurangi jumlah kendaraan yang masuk ke kampus dan untuk mewujudkan lingkungan kampus yang ramah lingkungan. Oleh karena itu untuk mengetahui kinerja pada shuttle bus Untirta perlu dilakukanya evaluasi kinerja operasional terhadap shuttle bus supaya mengetahui kinerja apa saja yang perlu di perbaiki agar civitas akademika Untirta merasakan pelayanan yang baik pada trasnsportasi kampus. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengevaluasi kinerja Operasional shuttle bus Untirta serta merekomendasikan kinerja operasional shuttle bus Untirta yang akan di gunakan. Analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis deskriptif kuantitatif serta metode SWOT untuk mengetahui kinerja dan pengembangan strategi dengan membagikan kuisioner kepada pengguna secara on the spot sampel yang di gunakan yaitu 100 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel metode Probability Sampling. Data yang diambil yaitu data Jumlah Penumpang dan waktu tempuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karateristik responden dapat diketahui bahwa profil dari pengguna shuttle bus Untirta kampus Serang dan kampus Untirta Cilegon mayoritas adalah perempuan (65%) dan berusia usia 16 – 25 (82%) dengan pengguna terbanyak mahasiswa (81%), serta Alasan penggunaan shuttle bus Untirta dikarenakan Biaya dengan persentase (62%). Sementara kinerja operasional pada shuttle bus cukup baik dengan waktu tempuh sesuai dengan standar yang di tetapkan Direktorat Jendral Perhubungan Darat No 687 tahun 2002 dan untuk load factor harus di tingkatkan karena untuk rute menuju kampus Cilegon nilai load factor kurang dari 70% dan untuk rute menuju kampus Sindangsari nilai load factor melebihi kapasitas yaitu 124%. Berdasarkan hasil SWOT, strategi pengembangan ada di kuadran 4 yaitu Strategi Bertahan, kekuatan dan peluang yang ada tidak bisa digunakan untuk pengembangan strategi.
