Abstract
This study examines Indonesian and Korean Code Mix with the object of research in The Byuntae Creepy Novel by Karindii. The use of two languages or what is referred to as code mixing can be found in literary works. The objectives of this study are (1) to describe the form of code mixing between Indonesian and Korean in the novel The Byuntae Creepy by Karindii, and (2) to find out what factors are behind the code mixing of Indonesian and Korean in the novel The Byuntae Creepy by Karindii. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used are literature study technique and Simak catat technique. The data in this study are sentences or utterances that use two languages in their speech. Based on the data analysis that has been done, the sentences or utterances containing code mix in the novel The Byuntae Creepy Karya Karindii are divided into word-shaped code mix and phrase-shaped code mix found as much as 52 data. In detail, the code mix data in the novel The Byuntae Creepy by Karindii is divided into 44 data of word form code mix and 8 data of phrase form code mix. The factors behind the code mix in the novel The Byuntae Creepy by Karindii are due to the need to further refine the meaning of speech, to reflect social status, and the words in the other language are easier to remember.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini mengkaji Campur Kode Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Korea dengan objek penelitian Novel The Byuntae Creepy Karya Karindii. Penggunaan dua bahasa atau yang disebut sebagai campur kode dapat ditemukan pada karya sastr. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk campur kode antara bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Korea pada novel The Byuntae Creepy karya Karindii, dan (2) menemukan faktor apa yang melatarbelakangi terjadinya campur kode bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Korea pada novel The Byuntae Creepy karya Karindii. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik studi pustaka dan teknik Simak catat. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kalimat atau tuturan yang menggunakan dua bahasa dalam tuturannya. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, kalimat atau tuturan yang mengandung campur kode dalam novel The Byuntae Creepy Karya Karindii terbagi atas campur kode berwujud kata dan campur kode berwujud frasa yang ditemukan sebanyak 52 data. Secara rinci data campur kode pada novel The Byuntae Creepy karya Karindii terbagi atas campur kode wujud kata sebanyak 44 data dan campur kode wujud frasa sebanyak 8 data. Adapun faktor yang melatarbelakangi adanya campur kode pada novel The Byuntae Creepy karya Karindii ialah karena adanya kebutuhan untuk lebih memperhalus maksud tuturan, untuk mencerminkan status sosialnya, dan kata-kata dalam bahasa lain tersebut lebih mudah diingat. | |||||||||
