Abstract

This research to know the influence of STAD cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in class x sociology at senior high school 1 Anyar. The approach used in conducting research is to use a quantitative approach with the method used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a Post Test Only Group Design. Data collection techniques used by researchers include observation, testing, and documentation. The population in this study were 142 students with a total sample of 36 students. The sample was calculated using purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the Sociology subject in Class X Social Sciences for the 2022/2023 academic year. Based on the results of the calculation of the hypothesis test using the t-test, it obtained a sig < Alpha value of 0.010 < 0.05, so according to the basis for making decisions on the t-test, there are differences in the results of studying sociology in the experimental class and the control class. If you look at t-count > t-table for t-count 2.732 > t-table 2.03011. It can be concluded that the use of the STAD type cooperative learning model has an effect on student learning outcomes compared to student learning outcomes using conventional learning models.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sosiologi kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Anyar. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian yaitu menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain Post Test Only Group Design.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti antara lain observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu 142 siswa dengan jumlah sample 36 siswa, sampel tersebut dihitung dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi di Kelas X IPS tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis yang menggunakan Uji-t diperoleh nilai sig < Alfa sebesar 0,010 < 0,05, maka sesuai dasar pengambilan keputusan Uji-t, maka terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar sosiologi kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dilihat t-hitung > t-tabel sebesar t-hitung 2,732 > t-tabel 2.03011. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional.
