Abstract
This research aims to describe the value of global diversity in the novel Balada Si Roy by Gol A Gong and to make the research results relevant to literature learning in high school. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques use reading techniques, note-taking techniques, and literature study, data analysis techniques use research techniques with coding, data classification, describing data, concluding data, writing down findings, and making it relevant to literary learning. The results of this research show: (1) elements of global diversity values contained in the novel Balada Si Roy by Gol A Gong are: elements of knowing and appreciating culture, elements of communication and interaction between cultures, and elements of reflection and responsibility for the experience of diversity. Of the three elements of global diversity values in this novel, there are 33 data. (2) the research results show that the novel Balada Si Roy by Gol A Gong can be used as teaching material for literature learning in high school. Keywords: Novel, Global diversity, Literary learning.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai berkebinekaan global pada novel Balada Si Roy karya Gol A Gong dan merelevansikan hasil penelitian dengan pembelajaran sastra di SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik baca, teknik catat, dan studi pustaka, teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik telaah dengan pengkodean, klasifikasi data, mendeskripsikan data, menyimpulkan data, menuliskan temuan, dan merelevansikan dengan pembelajaran sastra. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) elemen nilai berkebinekaan global yang terkandung pada novel Balada Si Roy karya Gol A Gong adalah: elemen mengenal dan menghargai budaya, elemen komunikasi dan interaksi antar budaya, dan elemen refleksi dan tanggung jawab terhadap pengalaman kebinekaan. Dari tiga elemen nilai berkebinekaan global pada novel ini terdapat 33 data. (2) hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel Balada Si Roy karya Gol A Gong dapat dijadikan bahan ajar pembelajaran sastra di SMA.
