Abstract

The use of river water has become a basic thing in life as a creature that needs water every day, so that in maintaining its cleanliness and purity it must be maintained besides that the river is a field for various types of human, animal and ecological activities. , and even industry. position. Water pollution will not be separated from the government and industry, so in this study it is intended that social movements emerge in the midst of river water conditions that should belong to the community. or riparian as the concept of hydro-hegemony is called for everyday life. Not for the sake of self-power by elites in the local area. The utilization of the Hydro-Hegemony theory concept used in this study is to take the theory put forward by Mark Zeiton and Jeoren Warner as a study of hegemony in Watershed Waters (DAS) and into a study of social movements in society. Society, namely Jhon J Macionis who divides various concepts of social movements in terms of the emergence, merger, bureaucracy and decline of social movements so that in decline they have various types of classifications that are appropriate in resolving cases where there are successes, failures, cooperation, pressure and or as the mainstream in the social movement. In the aspect of the methodology section, in this case, it is oriented towards the opinions and concepts of Jhon W Creswell, his case studies, where researchers can have directions for taking pictures, such as the case of water pollution in the Cidurian river, Gembong. Additional Information:	Penggunaan air sungai sudah menjadi hal inti dalam berkehidupan sebagai makhluk yang sehari-hari membutuhkan air, sehingga dalam perlindungan atas kebersihan dan kemurniannya harus tetap dipertahankan selain itu sungai menjadi ladang dalam berbagai macam jenis kegiatan oleh manusia, hewan, ekologi, dan bahkan industri-industri yang berdiri. Pencemaran air tidak akan luput dari bersampingan antara pemerintah dan industri maka dalam penelitian ini dimaksudkan bahwa adanya muncul sebuah gerakan sosial masyarakat yang berada dalam tengah-tengah kondisi air sungai yang semestinya berada dalam ranah milik masyarakat atau riparian sebagai sebutan konsep hidro-hegemoni guna kehidupan sehari-hari bukan untuk kekuasaan sendiri kepentingan oleh kaum elit di wilayah lokal. Penggunaan konsep secara teoritis tentang Hidro-Hegemoni yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu mengambil teori yang dikemukakan oleh Mark Zeiton dan Jeoren Warner sebagai pengkajian tentang hegemoni dalam perairan Derasan Air Sungai (DAS) dan menjadi kajian tentang gerakan sosial Masyarakat yaitu Jhon J Macionis yang membagi berbagai kosep gerakan sosial secara kemunculan, penggabungan, birokrasi dan kemunduran gerakan sosial sehingga dalam kemundurannya memiliki berbagai jenis klasifikasi yang sesuai dalam penyelesaian kasusnya terdapat suksess, gagal, adanya kerjasama, adanya tekanan dan atau sebagai arus utama dalam gerakan sosial tersebut. Pada aspek bagian metodologi dalam hal ini berkiblat kepada pendapat dan konsep Jhon W Creswell studi kasusnya yang mana peneliti dapat mempunyai arah untuk memotret sebagaimana kasus penentangan pencemaran air di sungai Cidurian Desa Gembong adalah betul-betul sebuah pencemaran air dan adanya kepentingan yang terkandung di dalamnya, sehingga penelitian ini menjadi menarik dikarenakan adanya tema tentang politik air yang di awali atau di bingkai dengan pencemaran air benar-benar terjadi di Sungai Cidurian Desa Gembong hingga pada akhirnya hasil peneliti melakukan observasi langsung dimana gerakan sosial masyarakat harus mundur dikarenakan adanya sebuah kepentingan dari beberapa aktor yang berkuasa di kawasan tersebut.
