Abstract
Geothermal is a renewable natural resource and is a natural wealth in Indonesia. As much as 40% of the world's geothermal reserves are in Indonesia. Geothermal energy sources are a form of energy that is always renewable, clean and environmentally friendly. Therefore, geothermal energy is used as a source of electricity generation because it does not use coal and therefore does not produce greenhouse gas emissions. Moreover, Serang Regency also has geothermal sources. Therefore, it can be used as an alternative energy source to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In Serang Regency there is a geothermal source, namely the Banten Lake Caldera WKP located in Padarincang where the Rawa Dano Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP) will be built. This PLTP has received permission since 2009, however, until now no construction has occurred because it received resistance from the community on the grounds of concerns about the destruction of natural resources. This type of research is qualitative, using the constructivist paradigm and Axel Honneth's recognition theory. The selection of informants used purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out intensively through interviews. From this research, conclusions were drawn: First, conflict still occurs due to socialization and negotiations carried out by PT SBG which did not reach common ground, with changing actors. Second, the consequences that still occur between PT SBG and the community occur because there is no recognition between PT SBG and the community. The government places more emphasis on regulations, while the public is not well educated and aware of the benefits of PLTP. Thus, causing disrespect between both parties.

| Additional Information: | Panas Bumi merupakan sumber daya alam terbarukan dan merupakan kekayaan alam yang berada di Indonesia. Sebanyak 40% cadangan panas bumi dunia ada di Indonesia. Sumber energi panas bumi merupakan salah satu bentuk energi yang selalu terbarukan, bersih serta ramah lingkungan. Maka itu panas bumi dijadikan sumber pembangkit listrik karena tidak menggunakan bahan batu bara sehingga tidak menghasilkan emisi gas rumah kaca. Apalagi Kabupaten Serang juga memiliki sumber panas bumi tersebut. Oleh karena itu dapat dijadikan sumber tenaga alternatif untuk mengurangi emisi gas rumah kaca. Di Kabupaten Serang terdapat sumber panas bumi yaitui WKP Kaldera Danau Banten terletak di Padarincang yang akan di bangun Pembangkit Listrik Tanaga Panas Bumi (PLTP) Rawa Dano. PLTP ini sudah mendapat ijin dari tahun 2009 namun, hingga saat ini belum terjadi pembangunan karena mendapat penolakan dari masyarakat dengan alasan ke khawatiran akan rusaknya sumber daya alam. Jenis penelitian ini kualitatif, menggunakan paradigma konturktivisme, dan teori pengakuan Axel Honneth. Pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara intensif melalui wawancara Dari penelitian tersebut ditarik kesimpulan: Pertama, konflik masih terjadi akibat sosialisasi dan negosiasi yang dilakukan PT SBG yang tidak menmui titik temu, dengan aktor yang berubah. Kedua, konsekwensi yang masih terjadi antara PT SBG dan masyarakat terjadi karena tidak ada pengakuan antara PT SBG dan masyarakat. Pemerintah lebih menekankan pada regulasi, sementara masyarakat tidak teredukasi dengan baik dan aware manfaat PLTP. Sehingga, menimbulkan rasa tidak hormat antara kedua belah pihak. | |||||||||
