Abstract
This study discusses the routines of journalists in producing news in online media based on the Pikiran Rakyat Media Network namely Serangnews.pikiran-rakyat.com and Kabarbanten.pikiran-rakyat.com. The research is motivated by the rise of online media are joined in one company by carrying out the concept of a collaborative economy. The focus of the problem being analyzed is the process of selecting issues, choosing sources and choosing words in news production by journalists, the communicative process in the newsroom to the editorial gatekeeping process. The research method used is qualitative research, with the newsroom ethnographic method. Researchers use Shoemaker & Reese's Hierarchical Theory of Influence to find out what influences media content as a result of routines in the newsroom. Determination of informants using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the study show that journalists' routines in producing content are influenced by individual levels and media routines. However, the most influencing factor is at the organizational level. Because this is related to the company's policy to produce content that can generate many benefits for both the editorial team of Serangnews.pikiran-rakyat journalists and Kabarbanten.pikiran.rakyat.com as well as for PRMN as the holding company

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini membahas mengenai rutinitas jurnalis di dalam memproduksi berita di media online yang berbasis jaringan Pikiran Rakyat Media Network yaitu Serangnews.pikiran-rakyat.com dan Kabarbanten.pikiran-rakyat.com. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi maraknya media online yang bergabung dalam satu perusahaan mengusung konsep ekonomi kolaboratif. Fokus permasalahan yang dianalisis adalah proses memilih isu, memilih sumber dan pemilihan kata di dalam produksi berita oleh jurnalis, peristiwa komunikatif di ruang redaksi hingga proses gatekeeping redaksi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan metode etnografi newsroom. Peneliti menggunakan Teori Hirarki Pengaruh Shoemaker & Reese untuk mengetahui apa saja yang mempengaruhi isi media sebagai hasil dari rutinitas di ruang redaksi. Penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian didapat bahwa rutinitas jurnalis di dalam menghasilkan konten dipengaruhi level individu dan rutinitas media. Namun faktor yang paling mempengaruhi ada di level organisasi. Sebab hal itu berhubungan dengan kebijakan perusahaan untuk menghasilkan konten yang bisa menghasilkan banyak keuntungan baik bagi tim redaksi Serangnews.pikiran-rakyat jurnalis dan Kabarbanten.pikiran.rakyat.com maupun bagi PRMN sebagai induk perusahaan. | |||||||||
